Nice cardigan but not for me
The zipper doesn't work. I wrote a review previously but it does not appear for some reason. But I forgot to mention the zipper. The fit was terrible for my shape. But the knit is beautiful, with a nice medium weight to it. The colour emerald green is beautiful.

Pills. Darn!
I love this sweater for all the reasons the others have to write about. I love the weight, the drape, the coverage, etc. I bought three last year, but because of the horrible pilling the Light Sea Blue is going back. I'll stick to the dark colors and wear them as long as I can. I'm afraid of shavers that might leave the fabric thread bare. Too bad. Do it over in some other kind of knit, Please.

Pills
I bought the pale emerald about a year ago. I loved the fact that it zipped from the bottom and top; however, as others have already pointed out, there is a problem with the zipper. I did get it to work, but got so tired of messing with it that at the end of the day, I now pull the sweater over my head so it stays zipped. The other problem I have with it are the pills. Yes, it does pill. I have a wonderful fabric shaver, but even after shaving, there is roughness on the underpart of the sleeves and no amount of shaving will get rid of it.
I have gotten tons of compliments on this sweater, both for the color and the styling, thus the three star rating. I would own one in every color if it weren't for the pills.

A Classic
I ordered this sweater in navy blue, which looks great with jeans or dressier trousers. It's a medium weight, fits very comfortably, and would be perfect except for the fact that the fabric lining at the inside edge of the zipper is too close, so it gets caught. I just wear it open; however, this could be a deal breaker for some, so I gave it 4 stars. I plan to order it in one of the pastel shades for spring.

Defective zipper
The zipper is sewn in so badly that it can't be zipped up.

Love this sweater
Bought two Loganberry and the Lt sea blue, think they will be good to use to layer with either blouse or tee or even tank depending upon the weather. They are of medium weight . I prefer a little room in my fit so these sweaters are just great.

Nice weight, and very versatile
I wore this at Thanksgiving, and both my mom and sister commented on how much they liked it, so they're both getting one for Christmas. Nice color choices, and plus and petite sizing made it work for all the women in my family. The one recommendation I would have is to have it be be a little more fitted and less boxy through the sides. That one small change would make it a lot more flattering. Works with slacks at the office and jeans on the weekend.

Bad zipper
Very cheap zipper. And this is a pricey cardigan to have that zipper. It doesn't zip easily at all. I fussed and fussed trying to get it zipped and decided that I shouldn't have to work that hard to make it zip! Returned it. Too bad because the fabric was a nice quality. Come on, Lands End- cheap out somewhere else. Not on the clothing.

Good casual top for cooler days
Top material is heavier and coarser than expected, so it feels more like a jacket than a cardigan. Sleeves on a petite are very long, about 3 inches below my wrist. Winter is here so will keep it.

Recommended with caveat
I ordered two of this sweater, in loganberry and pale emerald. I loved both colors. The fabric had a wonderful weight and feel to it. I started with a large (I'm wide in the shoulders), returned for medium, and returned again for a small. It wasn't until the small that I realized I just didn't like the cut on it. It's too long and boxy for my taste. I am slender but wide and the sweater made me look too square. I'd read the previous reviews that said the zipper didn't work well, and that was my experience also. I would have overlooked it because you don't have to zip or unzip to get on or off, but still, the zipper should work better than these. If you're looking for a nice sweater that is mid-hip length and straight, you would probably really like this one.
