Description

A twinset starter that resists fading and pilling.

  • Acrylic/nylon fabric keeps its shape and color wash after wash
  • Fine gauge creates a dressier appearance
  • Full fashioning for a “made for you” fit
  • Button-front styling with a feminine crew neckline

Timeless style warrants a fabric that will withstand wash and wear love. That’s why we made this classic cardigan with 78% acrylic/22% nylon in a tighter twist. The improved fabric feels softer than ever, resists pilling, fading and won’t stretch out of shape. Give it a try.

It pills! Couldn't keep. Had to return it. I loved everything about this cardigan - the longer length, weight, drape, fit, the fact that it hangs straight and doesn't pull open at the bottom, and colors. But because of the fabric content, it will pill! A little card is included with the sweater about how to remove the pills. Hoping LandsEnd will make a 100% cotton sweater in this same longer length and style. The design of this allows it to hang straight down, rather than pulling open like the LE cotton cardigan does. I really dislike cardigans that "pull open" at the bottom ribbing. May 28, 2013
Nylon addition was a poor addition I have always loved Land's End cardigans, however, the addition of nylon to this sweater was a bad idea. No matter what you do the edges and buttons roll up; can't even keep it flat while drying and won't stay flat even after ironing. Give me 100% cotton any day. April 17, 2013
Okay, wears out fast I ordered this in the purple-ish color, size Petite Small last spring. The fit is fine, not too tight, not too loose. I wear a size 4-6 petite usually in tops. However, after a few washes the color is fading, I wash this with my dark colors in cold water. I have not worn it that often this past year and would say that I've washed it only three to four times. Disappointing considering the cost of this sweater I would think it would hold the color better. Also, this is a great spring sweater, it is not that thick or warm, a good cover-up. I bought this one specifically to wear with a maxi dress for a wedding I attended March 2012. January 9, 2013
Comfortable cardigan I wish I had ordered a small since this seems to be cut looser than the image showed, but since I'm tall I have to be concerned with the arm and overall length of tops. January 5, 2013
Very nice sweater. Fits well. Great fabric. Washes nice. January 5, 2013
Color and fit are just right The sweater is a medium weight, washed up beautifully, little or no ironing; the green matched my peridot earrings perfectly; the size large is what I usually take (size 14-16 woman) it wasn't too loose or tight; very comfortable on my skin. I had it monogrammed with single letter but it was about 1/2 inch (would have liked it about 3/4 inch) January 5, 2013
Am I ever sorry I ordered this!! Despite the claims that this sweater "resists pilling", that was not my experience. After a few wearings, the undersides of the sleeves were covered with annoying fuzz balls. Although I have a defuzzing device, I was thoroughly upset with having to remove the fuzz after each wearing, so....it ended up in the trash can. Fortunately, I didn't spend a great deal on it, or I may have had to continue the de-pilling. The feel of the knit was kind of creepy, too. I must have gotten a product different from what others received and are singing its high praises! I'm a loyal Lands' End customer of 30-years or so, but the relationship may be coming to an end. The quality of the clothing is definitely slipping. December 27, 2012
Thin fabric Fabric is so thin it is hard to hold its shape. Wrinkles and frumpy! Not true to color. Am returning! December 24, 2012
I like it! Fits well and washed well. I would say it's a medium thickness and I would have liked a little thicker but this one was the style I wanted. December 23, 2012
Absolutely Love thisSweater! It's comfortable and stylish and fits very well. December 22, 2012
