Really Nice Coat Fits beautiful, has a nice shape. Perfect for the Fall or Spring... I would buy this coat again if it came in different colours and fabric. Very Flattering shape. I also agree with the comments about the "itchy neck" I read before I purchased this coat but..... it is made of wool and a light scarf or collared shirt prevents the slight itch you may get around the neck. Very Happy with my coat. April 28, 2013
GREAT Tall Gal Coat I'm so glad my daughter taught me to read reviews (and search Tall Womens Coats) if I'm going to buy online because I LOVE this coat!! Yes I had scarves in case collar itched. I'm a tall gal who needed a new stylish coat. My daughters love this coat on me. Yes I purchased it bigger for suits etc. but I'm happy and it was warm in DC weather!!! First time ordering and I will be back..... January 24, 2013
Good but not as warm as claimed Ordered one size down and fit was fine on my tall size 12 pear shaped body. Material is fairly closely woven for a tweed, looks nice and feels fine. I don't consider myself particularly sensitive to cold and live in a place where it has been between 5 and 25 degrees the last two weeks;this is the temperature range the coat is rated for. This coat is fine for a quick walk from car to a building and since I wanted it mostly for dressier occasions I will keep it for those. I will continue to use a down coat for waiting for the bus or going for walks in this weather. January 23, 2013
Beautiful coat and fit, but itchy I love the look of this coat. However, it is VERY scratchy. For anyone who has any sensitivity to wool, the neckline must be covered by a soft scarf to make it work. I have been wearing it in the warmer winter weather of New England this year. It feels a little tighter than I'd like, perhaps because I'm wearing heavier layers than it can handle. Overall, it is a beautiful coat and is exactly what I wanted. I would like it a bit bigger, and I really wish it didn't itch! January 13, 2013
Great coat! My husband encouraged me to get this coat instead of a shorter pea-coat style to replace my worn-out fall coat. He was right (don't tell him please!). I love it. I wear it nearly every day, with jeans, slacks or a skirt. I am 5'8". The length and swing works well for me, plus it keeps my tushy warm. I got the tweedy gray color. Have had it a few months and it still looks like new. January 7, 2013
Nice dress coat The petite small is a perfect length in the sleeves and overall length for me. It looks custom tailored, and the black and white tweed goes with anything. It may not be warm enough for the middle of a Minnesota winter, but I usually travel with a backup down jacket in the car, just in case. Nice coat! January 3, 2013
This coat fits me to the "T". The quality is superb. The workmanship could not be better. I have been wearing this coat to my job in court. December 26, 2012
Started wearing it the day it came; love the style and details on it Normally I wear a petite but, since I wanted knee length to wear with slacks, I decided to go with a 4 regular. The sleeves are a tad too long (rather a little long in cold weather than short) but the length is perfect. The fit is good wearing it with or without a sweater underneath. The double pleat in the back allows for ease of getting in and out of a vehicle. I have worn it every day since it arrived. December 24, 2012
Perfect for my height Love, love this jacket. Perfect fit for my height. Got so many compliments about it. December 22, 2012
Beautiful coat, just a little itchy I love this coat. I ordered it one size up (6 instead of 4) because I wanted to be able to wear it over a suit. The size 6 looks great and I have received several compliments on it. I ordered a red scarf and gloves to wear with it and they make for a great contrast against the black/white of the tweed. It has a chain for the coat loop inside which is a nice touch. My only complaint is that it is very itchy around the collar. Sometimes I am sensitive to wool when it has a fuzzy weave so balance that against the look. I don't have a problem as long as I wear a scarf between the coat neck and my neck, so I'm keeping it.
