Here’s the awesome thing: it looks like a wrap dress, but it isn’t. It has a wrapped bodice, but it’s secured at the waist. And there’s a discreet side zipper. Makes the whole thing just a tad more secure. (Some of us prefer it that way.) And yet, the dress is wonderfully shaped, with the self-fabric belt included. Fully lined. 100% cotton. Machine wash. Imported.

Fit is strange
This dress did not work for me. The surplice gaps. The whole dress is too puffy. Lovely print. Perhaps the fit is just strange in the larger sizes.

Just Lovely!
This dress is cotton twill, but it's incredibly soft and flowey rather than stiff. The color's beautiful, the drape of the fabric is perfect, it's perfect for a curvy hourglass figure and very flattering. I sized up from my regular 8 to a 10 because I heard that the top/shoulder portion was very small, and the 10 fits perfect. A teeny bit roomy but very comfortable to have on. Lovely addition to my wardrobe!

Cute, with an early 1950's vibe
I am 5' and the petite size is is about an inch longer on me than on the model in the picture. I have narrow shoulders, but it does feel a bit tight in that area. You can't tell by looking though. I have a short, high waist, but still wish the waist area was dropped a little lower. It still looks flattering. I think the pattern is pretty, and the lining is a big plus. I was surprised how nice this looked on, and it seems like something I'll be able to throw on and go, but I'm still deciding if I can pull off such a retro look.

Disappointing
The dress looks so cute on the model but its not attractive in person.
The material feels cheap, the pattern is garish, the top gaps a lot and I am busty so I need a cami under it. It also looks old. It felt like something my grandma would wear. I was really disappointed.

It's a Keeper!
This dress fits me just right and looks really cute tied in the front. The print reminds me of an Impressionist painting. The lining is 100% cotton, which I appreciate--I refuse to wear a summer dress that is lined with polyester. I LOVE the length of this dress. I am 5'5", and it hits me on the lower third of my knee. I also love the full skirt. It is flattering (I am a pear-shaped size 14) and looks very feminine. PS--I think it's funny that my nickname is automatically listed as "DontWannaSweat"--I used that name to review another dress I received that DID have a polyester lining, although that was not stated in the description on the web site. I guess I will perpetually be known as DontWannaSweat, unless I can figure out a way to change it!

Tight Across the Shoulders
I wanted to like this dress. The color is beautiful. I ordered it in two sizes (10 and 12), and either size would have been fine everywhere but the shoulders. I could not move my arms freely and when I put my arms out in front of me, the fabric pulled very tightly across my back. I had to return both sizes.

Colors are Not Accurate
The colors are not shown accurately. They are much more pastel, especially the purple. Granted my hair is not as dark brown as the model, but this dress did nothing for my complexion. The contrast between colors is very minimal. The shape and fit are high wasted with a full skirt. Loved the cap sleeves, not the empire waist. Just doesn't work for someone 5'9" and curvy as a size 10 / Medium. Unfortunately, it'll be returned.

Love this dress!
I am a 24-year-old, and I absolutely love this dress. It is not at all "old" or "drab" to me. I am plesantly surprised at how the bust fits - I am endowed and it covers me wonderfully - I do not even need to wear a camisole underneath. I am 6'0, and the dress is long enough for me and fits like a dream. I have recieved many compliments, including one to the effect of "you look stunning". I usually do not get compliments, so this was a welcome interlude to that!. I am so happy I bought this dress. :) I orderd one size down. I am usually a size 10, and I ordered an 8, and it fits just right.
I hope this was helpful to potential buyers of this dress.
