Really great dress
I ordered this dress 1 size down after reading the reviews and it fits perfectly. So flattering and comfortable that I am going to order the navy as well. This is a great piece for so many occasions I may order a back of the print as well!

Now one of my favorite dresses!
I recently received this dress. I'm petite, 5 feet tall and weigh about 120 pounds. I wasn't sure how a maxi dress would look on me, but figured I'd give it a try. I ordered the petite xs. I love this dress! It fits perfectly - no binding, no gaps, no pulling. I like that I can adjust the sleeves/straps to highlight my upper arms. The waist is in just the right place and make my short torso look amazingly long. The length is perfect - ends just above my ankles, so no tripping over the hem or needing to take it up. The v-neck is just the right depth, low enough to show off nice collar bones, but not so low that I need to layer with a tank top. Even with the ties at the shoulders the dress layers beautifully with a thin sweater. The pattern is beautiful, not overwhelming on a petite frame. The two side vents are just the right length - the front/back doesn't go between my legs, but I have enough room to walk normally. The fabric is thick enough that there is no need to wear a slip, but light enough that I stay cool. The fabric is also amazingly soft inside. I wish there were more patterns and colors to choose because I would love to have one for each day of the week....much more comfortable and stylish than capris and a t-shirt for the warm weather!

The dress is well made but it's very large
I am 5' 5" and 160 lbs. I ordered a medium based on the other reviews of it being too big.I usually were a 12 or 10 in pants. I think I need to order a small. It's very loose. I like the material and the way the dress looks on the model. It's very comfortable dress but there is a lot of it so it needs to fit.

Great dress but go a size smaller
Usually Land's End dresses in Medium fit me perfectly but I am glad I got this one in Small (thank you, girls who reviewed the dress before me). Listen to the reviews and go one size smaller, you won't regret it. I was worried about the midsection, that it'd be too loose, but no worries, the dress is very slimming and not bulky at all. The fabric is nice and light and the print is very pretty. I am going to wear this dress to work (we are pretty casual in the summer) and just around town.

I finally found a maxi dress with the fit and fabric pattern I like!
Once I found my size (2 sizes smaller) I find I reach for this dress often. The quality is top-notch and the fabric is very soft and comfortable!

Nice comfortable, casual dress
I like this dress for it's comfort and it's style. While I don't think it has that Garden Party or church look, for hanging around Dixie, it's just great! I would deem it a cross between food shopping and church; not too casual, not too formal. And the comfort can't be beat!

This dress is a very light & comfortable sundress.
Unfortunately I am rather short, 5'2" and the dress did nothing to make me look taller. I'm sure it will fit someone of average or tall height very nicely, but tor short people the loose top gave me a real "chunky" look. I only weigh 108 lbs so short and chunky is not the look I shoot for. Sorry to say I had to return it.

Pretty, cozy, easy to wear, flattering, if a bit pricey...
I'm so glad I bought this dress. It is so soft, so comfy, pretty, flattering. I'll wear it lots this summer. You can easily wear it in casual or dressier occasions (with a necklace and sweater/jacket). I only wish that Lands End offered it in other print colors. I'd love to see it in bottle green/white, and red/white. Patterns are great on a dress like this: they hide your bumps and panty lines :). I like it so much I'll be ordering the solid navy, too. Oh, and it runs big. I'm 5'4" and weigh about 150, and the small was good on me, if a little generous. A tad pricey, but hey, when you find something that looks great and is easy and pretty to wear, you go for it :)

Frumpy on me
This dress sold out before I could get my hands on it and I waited for my size to come back in stock. Meanwhile, I was really excited about the two 5-boat reviews saying how wonderful this dress was. I also ordered it in the black, thinking I would wear it constantly during the summer. I am 5'7", 260#, 44B pear shape, and I ordered the 2x. I love the print and the terry fabric, but it is HUGE! From the waist down, it's great. The length, the slit, the fit over my hips--all perfect. The top, however, is another matter. I am swimming in it. The armholes are so large and hang down so far that you can see most of my bra band and all of my armpit area. Not things I really want to expose. The top just hangs on my body and doesn't do anything to flatter my shape. The neckline is fine though--not too deep--and the shoulder ties are a cute touch. Unfortunately these dresses will have to go back. I haven't had much luck this season with sleeveless things from LE fitting properly. If you get this dress and discover you have the same armhole problem, I would recommend trying the Keyhole Dress instead.
