The perfect swimsuit!
I bought this suit for my upcoming honeymoon in Cancun. I'm 5'5" and apple-shaped; all my extra weight is in my middle (I wear, typically, a size 12, though I have some jeans in size 10 and 14). I ordered a size 14 petite, and the suit arrived in the mail today and I am in love! The straps in the back add interesting details, and the sides cover enough so I don't get the dreaded back fat hangover. The rouching in the front nicely camouflages my problem areas. There's a short piece of fabric that hangs down the front like a mini, mini skirt, which I didn't originally notice in the picture. This piece of fabric may be my favorite part of the suit as it covers my least favorite area, my lower stomach. I have tried on innumerable swimsuits but always feel exposed. In this suit, however, I feel confident, even sexy, and I can't wait to wear it to the beach, without a cover-up!

great suit
I really like this suit. It fits well and looks great. I like the stays along the side of the bust, they support well. I also like the over skirt, it hides the tummy. I would recommend this suit to an older woman because of the good coverage and yet, stylish look. The size 10 was perfect.

Great fit, plenty of support.
I ordered this suit in my regular clothing size and it is a great fit---plenty of length in the torso and great support in the bust. The leg openings do not gap (as I have found in some other styles ordered over the years). I couldn't be more satisfied.

Very pleased with the fit
I really like the fit. I am 152 lbs and 5'2" tall. The size 10 petite is the size that fit so well. I was a little bit disappointed since the color stated black royale I thought there was some royal blue in it but Duh, that was my fault.

Great fit!
What a find! I have tried several "slender suits" but this one is a keeper. I am very active in the water and needed something that would stay put, (straps and legs) and be supportive for a D cup. This suit has "stays" on the sides of the breast/underarm area and add great support. Along with the sewn in soft cups everything stays in place nicely. The leg openings are modest and don't ride up. The tunic fabric adds a little flair and can be cinched up to expose more leg if desired. I bought a size up and it fits to a "T". Great product at a great price.

Instantly slimming!
Bought this suit yesterday for my upcoming cruise. I like the fact I can move and be active in this suit to keep up with the kids yet at the same time it has a great print and shape! The small skirt is very short and not matronly.

Perfect suit for me!
I am 35, 5'4", and wear between a size 16 and 18. This suit is very flattering and hides my stomach very well. Also, I feel "secure" wearing it. It doesn't feel like everything is falling out, if that makes sense. I love it!

Pin Up Alert!
I HATE bathing suit shopping, but I tried this on and fell in love! I am not a small woman, but I looked like a pin-up girl from the 50's (which my husband is a fan of). It is a bit of a struggle to get on (due to the shape-enhancing fabric), but once its on, its doesn't shift. You feel so comfortable and feel that everything is staying put. You can't put a price on that. I might have gotten another color if it was available (ruby red would be nice, hint hint), but I am very pleased with this suit.

Not for "younger" women
I really, really like how the top part of the suit is cut but when I ordered it, I was worried that I would look like my own grandmother. It came and I did. I'm usually a size 10 but order bathing suits a size up which I had to do with this one as well. I don't have slim thighs but I think they're still too slim for the little skirt thing in the front. I would imagine that it would look quite flattering on wider thighs. The cut of the suit is generally quite flattering but it would be nice if the straps were adjustable if you need some more support, like me. The main issue though is the pattern. It really is (no offense to the other reviewers) very "old". Land's End definitely needs to add different colors and patterns to make this appealing to younger women. Even my husband said that I should send it back. :) Sorry!

Excellent swimsuit!
This bathing suit is very flattering for the 50+ year old figure. I was quite pleasantly surprised that the paisley print was as attractive as it was. It hid all the bumps and lumps and the little bit at the bottom of the suit nicely covers where your legs join the suit, so it gives you just that little extra bit of modesty and security. My husband, who will be brutally honest when I ask him to, declared it "a hit" and told me to start packing for our vacation! Highly recommend you give this one a try.
