Once my favorite...quality has plummeted!
I've had many many pairs of these tights over the years--some that have handled washing in the machine weekly for over a year, a pregnancy, and done fantastic! But the last few batches I've gotten this year have been so disappointing. They are thinner, shinier, and are only good for a wear or two before they run. (I've actually had a few pairs out of the box with runs!) Clearly there is a different supplier--the quality is has gone from "best ever" to "barely worth it". I give two stars instead of one because they still fit so well!

These tights won't hurt your internal organs
I agree with the reviewer who opened the package and said, "No way" - I also thought these would not fit, which is usually the case for me and tights. They looked TINY! In fact, I usually don't wear them, I just wear leggings under skirts. I find tights so... well, tight, that even Plus-size ones are too constricting to wear. I suffer from gastro issues and binding waistbands are NOT an option. But the colours were so appealing on these tights and the reviews made me hopeful, so I ordered Navy and Evergreen (in 2X, based on the reviews). What a surprise! They FIT. They are not unduly restricting in the waist, they stay up, and the legs aren't miles long, which is usually the case with Plus tights. (What's with that? The taller you are, the heavier you are? I'm medium height, size 0X with short legs - I don't need tights that can accommodate a seven-foot person.) The colours are lovely and go with lots of things I have, and I didn't feel any pain after wearing them for a workday. Only complaint is those toes - they were laddered after ONE wearing! Yes, reinforcing would be a great idea. Hope these last the winter... if so, I will get more. BROWN PLEEEASE!

These tights are gorgeous!
I get compliments when I wear these tights. The colors go with many of Lands End's dresses. I have the plum, the forest green, and the navy. The quality is excellent, and the tights are very durable. I also love the way they fit! Control top often means tight, hard to put on, and binding. That is not the case with these; they do their job, but they are very comfortable to wear. I've worn them to work for all day long; they're absolutely great!

love them!
I wasn't sure if I would like these. They feel great on very comfortable ( I am a 2x 5'9'' ) not need to size up. They keep there shape and are warm on cold days.

Opaque tights
It has been years since I purchased a pair of tights for myself, having worn trouser stockings instead. When I saw these, I just thought I'd try a pair. If you follow the fit chart, rather than buy the size you might buy in a stocking, you will be very pleased. These are a great medium weight, and fit like a dream.

awesome tights for the price
I bought several colors of these and after receiving and wearing them I bought another set of back ups!
They are soft, stretchy but will not slouch and have a nice color for the leg. The top was not binding but did act like a control top and smoothed out trouble areas. The sizing was easy to figure out . Love them, hope you will always carry these!!!

Nice Tights
I ordered a pair in the purple color to match a Lands' End dress. I liked them so much that I came back and ordered 5 more pairs in various colors. With sale pricing and free shipping, they were a better price than I usually pay at a well known discount store.

Nice, but not what I thought they were
Several years ago -- 5 to be exact -- I purchased the most wonderful tights in the universe from LE. They are finally breaking down and must be replaced. I thought these were the same, but alas, no. The fabric is thinner and shiny, which does not flatter me. They do fit the same, though, with plenty of length for my long legs (I am just over 5'9"). I kept two of the six pair I purchased to tide me over until I can find some like the ones I purchased so long ago from LE. The mission continues...
