Women's Modern Down Vest
Purchased the vest as I am not a big coat or jacket wearer- with 3 small children I prefer to have my arms free and not wear something I need to take on/off whenever I go indoors. The vest is great!! I ordered the orange color and it was exactly what I was hoping for. I am a size 12 with a 36DD bra and the chest area is slightly snug when fully zipped as I ordered a medium. I normally wear a long sleeve t-shirt with a camisole- I don't believe I could wear a bulky sweater with this zipped up and be comfortable- that's fine with me as I don't normally wear larger bulkier sweaters. Great vest!!!!

GREAT vest!
I bought this vest to replace the one I'd been wearing for years. It was not only a great fit, but was oh, so stylish, as well. The only negative was that I think the belt could have been a little tighter. I highly recommend it! I live in the NY area and haven't worn a winter 'coat' yet!!!

Warm & thick
This is a very warm/ thick vest. I usually wear a 12 in most clothes, but this vest is a bit snug over a cabled sweater. The collar area is a little too thick where the hood is tucked into. I like the belted fit, but I wish the zipper was a 2 way. Overall I like the vest.

Beautiful warm!
I love the idea of vests, but they're always so shapeless on me. When I saw this one with the belt, I decided to give it a try and am glad I did! I bought the XS in ivory (I am 5'6", 130lbs, small/average chest) and with the belt, the vest fit nicely. I agree with others that the chest area is pretty roomy. I had on a couple layers and there was plenty of room. Wish the belt would tighten more, but overall the vest is lovely. Feminine and warm. Very pleased! Highly recommend.

Classier look on down vest
Bought two of these vests in ivory for my daughters (both in their 20's) and they both loved them. They are nicely different with the lovely belted option at waist. Can be dressed up or down with jeans or skirt. Also having the hood zipped into the collar so you have it only when needed is a plus. Nice zippered inside pocket for cell phone, etc was a good design. The sizing is only slightly bigger which accomodates wearing a heavy sweater with it - but their normal sizing worked for both. The nicest new feature was the belt and the way it was designed for this vest. Classy. Would love more colors maybe next year.

WORTH THE PURCHASE
The quality of this vest is amazing. I bought it on sale (ivory color) so I'm extremely happy with the purchase. To give you an idea on your personal sizing, I'm 5' 6" and weigh 120 lbs. I purchased a size small and it is roomy enough for a turtleneck or light sweater underneath. It's perfect to wear on our chilly AZ winter mornings (high 20s low 30s).

Love this vest! Flattering and warm.
I fell in love with this vest when I first saw it. It was too warm here to buy it then. Good things come to those who wait, I got it at a very good price. I bought the fabulous orange color. So nice to see Lands End trying funkier colors. I usually wear a Large, but bought an XL because I knew I'd wear thicker sweaters under it. If you plan to wear layering tees or the like, buy your true size. The belt on the waist is extremely flattering on me, I have an hourglass figure, and the belt really emphasizes my waist. It's really a great vest, and I'm not a vest person.

Perfect, just the result I was looking for!
My business requires that I be both outside and inside all day. This vest allows me to move between the two effortlessly. And, still look terrific!
