Winter wonderful
I bought these boots to take with me to Paris over the winter. They were perfect. Comfortable, warm and stylish. They were great over skinny jeans and went everywhere with me. Fairly warm, but once there was snow on the ground, outside days required two pairs of socks. I'm normally a 6 but I got a 6.5 to accommodate the thick socks and they fit perfectly.

Fantastic for New England!
These boots are great! Wore them for the first time in a snow storm, it was snow where I lived and slush in the city. The traction on both snow and slush were great. They are easy to put on/take off, they are warm and super cozy and downright comfortable. And best of all? They allow you to be stylish when you have to look half way decent for work despite a snowstorm! LOVE them.

They did well in the snow.
These boots fit well and I'm a typical 6.5 regular width. We just had about 8-10 inches of snow dumped on us and I wore these to clean off my car for about 40 minutes. They kept my feet dry and pretty warm, although I think a few hours wearing them in the deep snow walking would not have been as favorable for warmth. They are probably more fashion than brawn, but I'm very happy that they performed as well as they did. At first I thought the top furry part could be a little narrower but working in them today I'm satisfied with the fit.

Great boot - comfortable, looks good, warm and dry
I ordered this boot for a Christmas trip to Quebec City and it was great. I have trouble finding comfortable shoes, especially for the balls of my feet, but I was able to walk all over with these with no problems at all. And although we walked in snow the whole time, they stayed completely warm and dry. They look very nice as well. One thing that didn't turn out as expected was that although you could turn the cuff down it stuck out rather than lying flat, so expect to wear the cuff up. But I loved these boots and would buy them again in a heartbeat.

Super warm and comfy!
I bought these boots to take on a trip to NYC. I knew that I would be standing outside for many hours and walking many blocks. These boots were so comfortable and warm. I wore them the entire trip! Even when we visited the 911 Memorial in the pouring rain my feet warm and dry (the rest of me, not so much). I highly recommend them!

Great boot-especially for wide width wearers
This boot was a great buy! I have wide calves and a wide foot, so I have been researching boots for YEARS! I read through all of the reviews for this boot, and decided to give them a try. I did order a half size bigger than normal. I have been very pleased overall with the fit and wear of these boots so far. I did take some reviewers advice and break them in around the house before wearing them for an extended length of time. They were a bit tight at first, but they felt very comfortable on the 3rd wear. The heel is just a little big, but not enough for me to worry. If anything, I will be able to add inserts next year without any tightness issues. These boots are very warm, too. I wore them outside to shovel snow for a few hours and my feet stayed warm and dry. There are 2 minor issues with these boots-1) the zipper placement is odd. It doesn't go all the way up the boot, and it creates a suction-like problem when taking them off. I just make sure I'm sitting down. Also, the top flap of my right boot flaps down, like it was bent while being stored. I'm hoping that I can fix that by storing it over the spring and summer with the flap folded inside the boot. Overall, I would recommend these boots, especially for those with wide calves and/or feet!

Outstanding!
My new boots just arrived and I love them! They fit perfectly and are easy to put on and take off....no matter that it is not a full length zipper. I couldn't be happier!

A Great,Wide,Comfortable,Warm Boot!
I was looking for something that didn't make my feet look too big since I have wide feet(I bought a 9W). I think these look stylish but are also surprisingly water resistant. The first time I wore them,it was rainy and slushy walking the NYC streets and I expected my boots to look filthy when I got home. They were very clean and I can only think that happened because of the water proofing that is on the shoe? I don't know,but I have gotten many compliments on them,they are comfortable and warm. I am very happy with this product!

Finally an actual wide boot
So, I have not worn them out of the house yet (they just came today) but I am so excited that they actually fit. I have a wide foot and a wide calf and finding comfortable warm not horrible looking winter boots has been impossible. I normally would have ordered a half size up because I plan to wear thick socks with them, but upon reading other reviews I ordered my normal size, in a wide width, and they fit perfectly. The top of the shaft has a split in it that I didn't notice too much in the pictures, but that really helped this boot fit comfortably over my calf without cutting off circlulation. I am very excited to wear these. They seem like they will be very warm.
I would have ordered the bootie in black except that the sole is the same light brown. If the sole had been black, I would have ordered those too.
