LOVE the dress...if it weren't so small in the bust...:(
I should have listened to other reviewers but used the fit & size numbers and ordered a Large (I am 5'7" and am a 38 c/d). The bust is WAAAAY too small. The empire waistline sits across them and I can't zip it up at the bust. So bummed as the color and style is adorable. Back it goes.

Women's Market Dress - Love It!
Other reviewers are correct, the bust area does fit snug. If you have a large chest, size up - but that was not a problem for me. The length of this dress is perfect. It goes just to the top of the knee. It is fully lined and has side pockets. I paired it with a lightweight blazer and it is perfect for work.

Small bodice!!!
Beware - do not try to "fudge the numbers" with this garment's measurements. You cannot squeeze into a smaller size because the bodice runs a bit small and there is no stretch. I'm usually a 12 on top and thought this size 12 would fit, but I could barely breathe. If in doubt, size up! It seemed nicely made though, had pockets, and was lined. I'd love to see this in pretty colors for the summer!

cute but very small bust!
I loved this dress online and was psyched to see it go on sale. Sadly the canvas line does not have the same dependable fit the regular lands end products do. The bust on this dress is made for a very small chested person. Also the slate black is more of a grey than black. Over all it is a very cute dress and made well, just for a small chested person. Going back :(

Very small chest
This dress is a lovely shape and fabric. The chest is cut very small though. I am a B cup and it was way too tight. I tried ordering the next size up, and I squished me as well. Ended up returning both. As it now costs to return from Canada, I wasn't going to try a third time. If you have a smaller chest, you might give it a try.

Very cute and comfortable!
I have been ordering from Lands End for many years and usually fit a Petite Small or Regular Xsmall. I ordered a size 8 in the black color dress and it fit perfectly. I liked the color because it wasn't a dark black, more of a grayish black. It was perfect for work with a gray cardigan. It seems a little pricey, but totally worth it because the material is high quality and it is fully lined, so there was no need to wear a slip, plus I bought it on sale. I threw it in the machine to wash, and hung it out to dry. Happily, there is no need to iron the dress because the fabric is of good quality. I wore the dress yesterday, loved it and got many compliments, so I went online and ordered the blue dress. This dress can be dressed up for work, or worn as a simple weekend dress.
