The shoe we've been searching for!
My 80+ year old mom finally wore out her vintage navy blue dock shoes (circa 1987!), and the hunt was on for a replacement. The Sebago docksides were too trendy, with their sequins and plaid panels (and why did they put that weird grandma sole on the reissued style? Ugh!). FINALLY, leave it to Land's End to see the value in bringing back the classic boat shoe in navy! As the other reviewers said, they do run slightly narrow (not crazy narrow, but a little), but the color is PERFECT, and the leather is very soft. It's a really well made shoe, and while I scored mine at 40% off (!), they aren't a bad value at their regular price of $69. My mom is beyond thrilled, and so am I--because my five year hunt is finally over!

Great quality, runs a bit narrow
The construction of this shoe is superior and the length was true to size. They are, however, very narrow and I find them a bit uncomfortable. Hoping that as they wear in they stretch a bit as this type of show often does.

This shoe is true to color and size.
I ordered this shoe in the navy and I love it. I wear a size 7.5 narrow and I ordered it in a 7.5 and it fits perfectly. The first time I wore them they felt wonderful. I had them for about 2 weeks and they were so comfortable that I ordered the brown. I have not been disappointed and would recommend them to anyone who wants a boat shoe. I love, love, love them.

Nice shoe overall
I agree with other reviews, shoe runs narrow. However, I used my shoe stretcher overnight and the shoes were fine after that, with knee socks on. They were comfortable right away, and I have worn them for gardening and shopping. The color brown is a nice dark shade, and they seem to be well made. Also, I was thrilled to get these on sale during an online promotion.

Nice shoes, but very narrow fit
I had my feet professionally measured and I take a size 7M. I bought these shoes in that size in the metallic. I could barely squeeze my feet inside the shoes, even with them untied! I had on thin socks. The shoes look great and appear to be well made, so I'm going to return them and order a bigger size.

Love this shoe, but narrow
I was so excited when I saw this shoe was on sale and purchased it right away. I really wanted a navy, leather, classic old school boat shoe and that is exactly what I got. I was very disappointed when I put it on and even with loosening the laces, it was just a little too tight. I have never had to wear a shoe and have had my foot professionally fitted and never been told I needed a wide width. This shoe definitely runs narrow. Please make it in a wide width, I really want it.

Love These Shoes
These are only my second pair of deck shoes. I grew up with sneakers and loafers (shoes that is) :-) and since we didn't live near the water didn't think of deck/boat shoes. These shoes exceeded my expectations in the quality of the leather which is glove soft and the fit - which was perfect for me. They felt comfortable right out of the box and needed no break-in time. I plan to wear them on a cruise with white slacks and a striped top - very nautical. Thanks Lands End, these shoes are great!

Great shoes with or without footies. Had foot surgery and the shoe doesn't bother me in the slightest. Fits awesome. Looks good. Gets great remarks. Love Love Love them.

love my shoe
I was a little nervous ordering this shoe because many of the reviews said it was a narrow fit. But I ordered 8 1/2 my usual size and it fits great and I do not have a narrow foot and wear this shoe daily. I picked the navy blue love the color and comfort.
