love it lots!
have been looking for a spring/fall jacket for a long time, nothing fancy just a little nicer than usual & this is wonderful! wool normally scratches me but this is soft soft soft! love the lining, the detail at the wrist, the big buttons. fits true to size. got it on special sale so the price was amazing! you won't be sorry if you order it.

Bravo to Lands End on this classic & stylish coat. Comfortable even when driving and a great length. Great-great-great coat!
I hope Lands End does this coat again next year in bright colors, Kelly green, royal blue, cherry red. I'll take one of each...and black too!

stylish and nice weight material
I like the fit and length and it looks equally good with pants and skirts...it's not too warm for Northern California winter nights...very nice fabric. My only complaint is that the sleeves are a little tight around my biceps(they are not oversized) if one wanted to wear a shirt and sweater underneath the jacket.

Fine Jacket
This jacket fits true to size. It is a simple design that goes well with a scarf. The quality was beyond what I thought I was getting - beautiful fabric, and the stitching and lining lends to its quality. I live in a ski resort and wear the jacket most days. I purchased the yellow last month and loved it so much I purchased the blue this month. If you like simplicity, comfort and a shorter-length jacket, this is it.

Great fit and a beautiful color.
I ordered the 12 petite and it fit perfectly, especially in the length of the sleeve. The "bottle green" color is a good neutral, but still different from my usual black, navy, or gray. I look forward to wearing this jacket often.

beautiful coat, but buttons damaged
This is a stylish coat with a beautiful "hand", well-made in every respect EXCEPT that all the buttons appeared damaged. They all had scratches, which as a home sewer, I suspect came from the machine that held the button in place when it was sewn on. The scratches were actually etched so I doubt they were supposed to be there as part of a design. I checked other coats of the same style in the Sears store and all of them had the same problem. One or two coats had one or two buttons with no scratches, again suggesting a flaw, rather than a design feature. Too bad because I really liked the coat, but couldn't get over the "damaged" look and don't feel like replacing all the buttons on a brand-new coat.

Tough call!
Although it looked beautifully tailored, it hung like a tent and stuck out in the front. Unfortunately, I had to return it.
I recommend it knowing that it was worth the try even if I had to send it back. Maybe others have better luck.

The coat is terrific.
I am delighted with the coat. It has lovely details, is well made, is of good quality, and fits very well. It looks quite elegant too.
The color is classic and will be good to go anywhere.

Beautiful quality, but sleeves are long
This is a beautifully made jacket, but the sleeves were way too long. My arms are a bit short, but this seemed extreme, and it would be hard to hem the sleeves because of the buttoned tab. I sent my size 6 back (a perfect, true-to-size fit) and ordered an 8 petite to see if I can make it work.
