We went to great lengths to bring you this true work of art. Our longest (and most luxurious) wool coat is crafted with the same impeccable quality and details typically found in high-end coats – with the exception of the $400 pricetag. Woven in Italy, the “canvas” contains a luscious blend of rich wool and sumptuous cashmere for a refined appearance and wonderfully soft touch. The silhouette is a traditional double-breasted style with princess seams for shape and a smooth, clean line. The tailoring is beautifully finished with careful attention to every detail, from the decorative pickstitching to the French envelope closure on the inside chest pocket. 68% wool/20% nylon/12% recycled cashmere. Dry clean. Imported.

Gorgeous coat Coat is a perfect fit. The sizing is very accurate and the quality is excellent. It's warm without being heavy which I love. It hasn't been cold enough yet for me to wear, but I know that once the winter weather arrives I won't want to take it off. I love it. April 14, 2013

Quality not up to Lands End standards. Linining was puckered. Was not able to wear as delivered so returned it. Front of coat was longer that back of coat. Appeared as if one size front was sewed to diferent size back This is why lining was puckered.. Otherwise material was nice although not true to color in cataloque. January 9, 2013

Nice coat. Material and style was wonderful and exactly what I wanted. Problem with the sleeves of the coat. The fit would not allow for a suit jacket to be worn or even a medium weight sweater underneath. Could not use it and had to return. January 7, 2013

Designed as a dress coat with no room for layering. This is a quality made garment. However, it is designed to be worn over a thin sweater or dress. I tried it with a Land's End sweater set and it was too snug through the arms. I was disappointed to have to return the coat. January 1, 2013

This coat is a true classic I have been looking for a new long dress coat for a few years. This coat is a true classic. I was happy to find this offered in Talls. I am 5'10" and the coat fit perfectly. I can still fit a blazer or sweater underneath without it being too tight. Nice weight; not too heavy and not too light. I highly recommend. December 28, 2012

Great coat, BUT...... The coat is very nicely made and the fabric very soft. The pockets are inconveniently located on the front. I would have given 5 boats if there were also side pockets to stick your hands in and if the navy were a bit darker I bought a 6 petite and the sleeve length was good but it is a bit snug in the shoulders with a jacket underneath. Sweater under is no problem. I am 5'5" and 128 lbs, small build. December 23, 2012

Beautiful Coat I love this coat.I purchased a Land's End peacoat in winter white last year.The wool is so soft.The coat isn't too heavy,however, it is very warm.So, when I wanted a long navy wool coat this year,I ordered the the Land's End long wool coat .It is just as beautiful as the peacoat. Land's End attention to detail is great.The inside of the coat is finished very nice too.Do not hesitate to buy a wool coat from Land's End .You won't be disappointed!!! December 23, 2012

Coat has no shape. The material is soft and beautiful. I love the quality. However, it is shapeless. The coat runs very big in the waist and hips. I got a 10 and it fit true to size in the shoulders, but the rest of the coat was way too big. It is going back. I got the red and the color was lovely. December 22, 2012
