love love love!
This is one of the nicest summer cardigans i've owned. it certainly is thin but that is exactly what i wanted. I wear lightweight cardigans over tank tops all summer to avoid burning in the sun and this will be exactly perfect. It's a nice enough quality that i wont hesitate to wear it over a fancy dress for a summer wedding. I also purchased the pale blue and it's a beautiful color. I'm ordering the black as well. Since it is so thin, the price is a touch steep, but it was worth it to me. I'd say it runs a smidge large, but it's meant to be worn over things, so i wouldnt size up any. Hope this is a yearly offering!

Great light weight summer sweater
I was surprised at the mixed reviews on this one: I ordered this in the Coastal mist, size medium. It fits slightly big but I planned to wear it over summer dresses so not a big deal. The knit is thin as stated in the product description, and yes, you can read through it if you place the fabric over a book but since I was looking for a light weight sweater to wear in the summer this was perfect. It is very fine gauge, soft and holds its shape well. It falls to about mid-hip, so not too short on my 5' 6" frame. Ther Coastal mist colour is gorgeous. One reader stated that her sweater was poor quality- mine was quite well made- no problems with uneven seams or tags. I was very pleased with this purchase.

These cardigans are very soft and great for the summer because there not to thick or to thin so there A+++ and they fit me perfectly!

Bad Choice
The fabric is so flimsy that I can actually read the 3/4 inch letters of a book title through it. The seams are puckered and uneven, and there's a gap where the side tag is sewn in. Land's End sweaters almost always fit me well. This one is too long overall. The sleeves are way too long and very tight. What happened to the old quality control and commitment to using good materials?

Disappointed!!!!
Uggh!!! I was so excited when I ordered three of these cardigans in a small petite, and I guess I should have known better! First, the length, on me, a 5'0 small petite frame was long on me like a boyfriend sweater, not flattering at all. The colors were great, but the material is sooooo thin and flimsy that it is not worth $49! I have bought many items from lands end because I felt the quality was good, and the sizing was too. However, this was not a good purchase and I feel the description for the fit is way off! I ordered a small petite and it just hung horribly... At this price, I would NOT recommend this product to anyone....

Excellent cardigan- HIGHLY recommend!
I am in love with this cardigan and now want it in other colors. The fit is spot on, perfect for layering. I am a size 18/20 on top in other stores and the 1x fits perfectly. The blue is such a beautiful shade of deep royal blue, I love it. It's lightweight, which I've been looking for forever. The v-neckline is very flattering. I don't hesitate to recommend this one- great job Lands End, please make more of these and offer them year round for us plus-size customers. Great for work, weekends, or date night.
