  • Face-framing portrait collar
  • Silhouette is comfortable, but with a hint of shape

You love the portrait collar style — feminine yet never "too much." And the cotton/rayon modal blend? So great, we just never run out of ways to use it. This time, it's a French terry — smooth and dressy-looking on the face, soft and textured on the back. For a top you'll pair with jeans, knit pants — almost anything. 57% cotton/38% rayon modal/5% spandex. Machine wash. Imported.

Women's Long Sleeve Starfish Terry Portrait Collar Top 4.3 5 13 13
Fine fit, fabric and look This top is all that I was hoping for and more. It is my third starfish top and is destined to be my favorite. The boatneck is flattering - perfect for a person (like myself) that finds turtlenecks uncomfortable (and a little too warm in North Carolina). The collar drapes nicely, the length will be perfect over pants and skirts of all types. A versatile top that can be dressed up or down. I'm planning to order more! November 20, 2012
Take a comfortable weekend sweatshirt and dress it up! This top is perfect for either leggings with a pair of boots, or regular pants. The neck looks more like a generous turtleneck than a boatneck. High enough for warmth; low enough for comfort and style. We older ladies don't always love our necks showing and this looks stylish. It's warm but not heavy and hits just below the hips. Cute either pulled up with a belt, or worn by itself. A super comfortable sweatshirt variation that can be worn anywhere while being as comfortable as laying around the house. The gray is nice with black pants. Fit is true to size. Can't beat the price either! October 3, 2012
Charcoal, Yes! Cardinal Red, NO! Love the fit and fabric overall. However, the cardinal red color is just awful and not at all like what is on the website. The shirt I received was a very washed out looking salmon color. August 24, 2012
Love this top! The fabric, and weight is wonderful. Very attractive top. Got it in the charcoal color. I really like how this looks on. August 18, 2012
Fit and Fabric Good but... The fit (XS) and fabric are just fine. No gripes about the collar, Color? I ordered Cardinal Red. I't more like a coral color. Maybe if you briefly dipped a cardinal into a bird bath of bleach solution its feathers would resemble this shade. It's pretty but it's NOT RED! July 9, 2012
Buying another one! May run a little large, and that may be the reason for the comfort. The collar is not too "floppy", meaning it doesn't droop down like a cowl neck. I wear it to work frequently enough, I'm buying another one. I've got the black and it has faded a bit, but it washes great. July 4, 2012
Comfortable and flattering Bought this a couple of months ago and it has become a go-to spring shirt. Great with dress pants or jeans, or pencil skirt. Dark berry color is terrific. I wish there were a rich bright blue; I'd get another. April 19, 2012
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS TOP!!! I have 3 of these tops and just ordered 2 more. Very flattering collar for my larger neck. The colors are beautiful, navy is nice and dark and the coral sunset is a lovely soft coral. The fit is perfect, the same size as my other LE tops and I love the slightly longer length. I am a "fuller in the middle" plus size gal and this top is quite flattering. This is wonderful material, a little heavier weight without being bulky and not clingy. It drapes nicely and gives with movement without losing it's shape. Thank you Lands End for giving me continuous style and quality. February 23, 2012
favorite top My favorite top of the 70's had this style collar. Tried on the XL size in a store and it was skin tight. Checked the size chart here and the 1X is supposed to be 1/2" SMALLER than the XL, which makes NO SENSE. So I ordered the 2X and it hangs like a bag on me. It did not shrink in very hot water and dryer so I ordered the 1X and it fits perfectly. The ivory 1x seems smaller that the others, but is OK and I have now ordered 7 different colors, including a striped one. The champagne is more gold that the tan color on the screen and the coral is the same shade as the red, only a tiny bit lighter. The red is not what I consider red but it is one of my favorites. The light gray almost seems like a taupe gray. They look great with everything from faded jeans on up to nicer slacks and go great under my thermacheck vest. I love their clothes and shoes but wish Lands End would get their sizes straight. Have had problems this year with shoes for grandchildren and I have older down coats in XL, 2 that I can wear but are a little tight and one that is a little large, and one XL jacket that is perfect. Can't really say it fits "true to size" but had to pick something for this review. January 26, 2012
After three tries I decided to give up. I'm 5'4" and usually a size 14 on top. I first ordered a large which seemed way to big. Then I reordered a medium which was too narrow in the upper arms. Finally I tried a large petite which was just unflattering and made me look shorter and stouter than I actually am. So I guess this style really is not for me. January 14, 2012
