Nice quality but sleeves are constricting
I bought 3 of these sweaters and they look very nice with slacks or skirts; perfect for work or a casual party. They are also light enough to fit well under a blazer. I was also happy that the the petite length wasn't too long which can can look dumpy on a short person. I would rate these sweaters a five except that the fit around the arms and upper chest was really narrow compared to the rest of the fit. I tried a size bigger, but then the waist and hips were huge, so I just kept the smaller size and blocked it out.

Pilling is extreme
I have finally resorted to wearing this under jackets only. The pilling on the sleeves and sides is extreme.
That being said, the small was true to size, the beige was as pictured and it is comfortable.

love fit and fabric
I love LE cashmere this year. This is the third year in a row I have bought LE cashmere and this year's is the best by far. It feels little finer (smoother) than the previous ones I have purchased and hasn't pilled after several wearings (previous ones would have pilled a little by now). i like a more fitted sweater (I am 5' 6 1/2" and weigh 118) and bought this in two sizes and wear both depending on the rise of my pants. I have a petite small and a XS (regular) and love them both. Needless to say, the petite small is a little wider and shorter but I might like it better to layer with t-shirts underneath. I absolutely love this sweater!!!!

I don't recommend this item.
This sweater was disappointing and I will be returning it. I have two other Land's End cashmere long sleeved sweaters, which I love, but this one is thinner than those and feels skimpy. Sorry.

Love the color -- Punch and love the feel.
Just got it. I love the color -- "punch". The sweater is very soft and a nice thickness. I have several of this style and like it the best.

Could see right through the fabric
The fit was good and I liked the styling, but the fabric was downright sheer. I ordered the sweater in the apricot heather color, which was quite pretty. But when I tried it on, you could see right through the fabric to my very visible pant line. I don't want to wear a camisole with a cashmere sweater! This one's being returned. I would probably like a darker shade where my pants don't show through, but I'm tired of fooling with this.

this is not the old land's end cashmere
i've been buying cashmere sweaters from Lands' End since graduate school. This year, although they are touted to be wonderful cashmere, I found them lacking. They pill and have little luster. Additionally, the arms are longer and the body is more fitted. I wish you'd go back to the old ones - many of which I still have and enjoy.
