  • Soft neck looks great up, folded or scrunched — you decide
  • Hemmed sleeves add a dressy touch

Around here, turtlenecks are a cool-weather staple. Worn with most everything — and often layered under sweaters, jackets and whatnot. So we’re pretty particular about them — what they’re made of, how they fit. We put extra effort into this one. First, it’s made of Supima®. You know the drill — the best of the best of American pima cotton. (Only 3% of the entire crop makes the cut.) Styled just how you like it: not too tight, not too loose, with a self fabric neck and dressy hemmed sleeves. Ready to love with everything you wear. 100% Supima cotton. Machine wash. Imported.

Soft and Comfy This turtleneck fit just right and the neck is not too tight. It is soft and feels like it will wash and dry well. The rose color is not too bright but will add color to any outfit. Will go especially well with fall and winter colors to brighten dark days. May 5, 2013
This turtleneck doesn't fit snug enough around the neck Land's End turtlenecks have long been my favorite, HOWEVER, I can no longer say that. The ones I purchased this year are lighter weight & the fit of the neck is too loose. I've rummaged through my closet to dig out ones purchased in past years that have spandex in the collar & will only wear them. Please offer the ones with spandex again so I can replenish my supply. Thank you. March 25, 2013
shrinks! While the fabric and workmanship initially impressed me favorably, after a couple of washes my turtleneck was so short in length it couldn't be tucked into jeans or pants. Who wants a turtleneck that ends right at the waist and adds to bulk there? I bought a Petite Medium, but I didn't expect it to end up so short. The regulars had an very loose neck that gapped. I have one older model LE turtleneck that is still nice after years of wear, with ample length and good beefly fabric, and a neck that fits properly. It's discouraging when brand new products don't hold a candle to vintage LE clothing. March 19, 2013
Must be a new manufacturer, because the shirts I ordered were different this year from last year. The stand up collar was much taller this year and just too much fabric to stand up nicely. I loved these shirts in the past when I have ordered them. Hope they go back to the previous manufacturer. March 2, 2013
Why so few colors? I differ from many of the Lands' End regulars in that I really like this turtleneck--substantial cloth, smooth feel, and I like the styling. But really: only available in black, white and navy? I would order many more if you offered different colors. February 23, 2013
The redesigned turtleneck is awful I've been wearing Lands' End turtlenecks forever but the navy blue one that I received for Christmas is no longer navy blue, it's more of a marine blue, the cotton isn't as thick and durable as the old turtlenecks, and it doesn't fit as well either. I've just ordered a navy blue turtleneck from LL Bean to see how it compares. But unless Lands' End brings back the old turtlenecks, I won't be buying any more from them. February 22, 2013
Great product, more colors or patterns needed My sister-in-law bought two of these and they were small on her, so she gave them to me. They are wonderful. I live in New York State and it is COLD in the winter. BUt I wear more stylish low-slung jeans. These shirts are long enough to tuck in if needed, long enough to hang OVER the tops of my jeans and roomy enough to get over just a little extra stomach that I'm carrying in my mid-40s. But, they also look tidy and neat, not casual and scrubby. And, the cotton is SO comfortable and soft. And thick enough to really be warm. My only problem is that when I came back here to buy like a half-dozen more, there are only three colors and they are WAY boring. It's going to be freezing here for at least 8 more weeks, so please don't just sell out and move into spring. February 21, 2013
What happened????? What happened to all of the lovely colors? I have it in a soft pink and sea turquoise as well as black and white. I had hoped for more colors, but alas, this seems to have gone the te way of everything else I've loved.....especially the wonderful all cotton cardigans and shells I ordered in every color. The supima is not the quality of the original. Please stop trying to "FIX" what doesn't need fixing!!!!!!!!! February 9, 2013
The beautiful topstitching is gone I have worn Lands' End turtlenecks with the stand-up neck and hemmed cuffs for years. The fabric has changed over that time from a heavier version to more of a mid-weigh rendition. All has been for the good up 'til now. This current offering is longer than before-- due to current fashion, I'm sure. It also lacks the finishing topstitching at the collar, shoulders, and around the armholes. These new turttlenecks appear more like the ones I used to get for next-to-nothing at the discount sporting goods store. Great for casual wear but without the beautiful finishing details, they don't quite cut it for work anymore. February 3, 2013
Wonderful fabric, and great fit. This is the first time I have bought your turtleneck sweaters. They were on sale, and so I got two. I can't believe how soft and comfortable they are. I live in Canada, and have not found comparable t-shirts here. I am usually very happy with purchases from L.E. Even with shipping and duties, I find I get good value for my money. January 31, 2013
