Great to wear as a 'big shirt' I like to wear these overtop a tshirt or polo, and these are roomy enough to do so at the regular size (I usually buy 1X polos here at LE, but am using the 18 for this shirt). Some shirts of this style are a bit tight in the upper arm for me, esp. when worn over another shirt, but these are roomy and comfortable. The fabric is a bit stiff, but feels like it will be light and breathable enough for summer wear. There is a green check pattern in the stores that I don't see here at all - very nice green. I also have the aqua dot and the blue check. I know some reviewers were requesting more patterns, but I'd like to see more solids or near-solids. April 24, 2013
I love these feminine button-downs! I love wearing button-downs, but hate ironing. These are perfect. I am partial to the patterns and prints, though, so if you're reading this, Land's End, please continue to add more patterns/prints -- especially ones that are unique to the women's line. For example, I tried the blue check, but it just made me look like I was wearing my husbands shirt. I LOVE the rose trellis print, though! April 21, 2013
This shirt is not at all what I wanted LE sent me the wrong shirt altogether. Even so I tried it on because most of the LE products are perfect for me. Really stiff material. Maybe after it's washed? Can't imagine wearing it during the summer months. I will return it. April 14, 2013
Great Shirt! This shirt fits very well and can be dressed up or down and of course the best part is no ironing required! April 14, 2013
This shirt is the perfect fit. I am very happy with the fit of this shirt. I am pleased that I now have the shirt size correct. As yet, I have not worn the shirt as it only arrived on Friday 12 April. April 13, 2013
Great fabric, great color, just fits a tad bit small. Great fabric, great color, just fits a tad bit small. April 1, 2013
Downhill Let me add my voice to those who noticed the poor quality of this season's Supima cotton. I've loved this shirt from previous seasons, but this season the fabric is stiff and crinkly. Previous seasons the Supima cotton was silky and much more confortable. I'll wait for next season to buy any more of these blouses and hope that LE gets the message. March 30, 2013
An Excellent Shirt After All I take back what I said about these shirts on an earlier review. I said they were too thin and flimsy. I got these mixed up with the 'oxford' shirts, which is what I thought I was buying a few months ago. These Supima Cotton shirts are much cooler to wear than the Oxford shirts, in the warmer months. The first time I wore this shirt to the office I was overwhelmed with relief at how cool and comfortable I was (it's hot where I work). I have bought four of these shirts. I don't like the print designs on the shirts though. Still, these shirts are FABULOUS. It's next to impossible to find ladies' collard shirts that button all the way up to the top! The fit is true to size but I bought a size up because I like a lot of room. March 25, 2013
Not perfect, but nice shirt I ordered this shirt in an 8 Tall in both the palm pink dots and the lobster tail wide stripe patterns. I'm 5'10", 160 lbs, and wear a 36B bra. The things I really like about these shirts are that the sleeves are long enough for my arms, the shirts are definitely long enough to be tucked into pants, and they don't need to be ironed after being washed (after washing I just put them in the dryer on low heat for 10 minutes and then hang them up to dry the rest of the way after that)! The things I don't love is that the material does seem to be a little on the thin side; it's not so thin that you can see through them in the 2 colors I ordered, but I'm guessing you would be able to see through the material if it was plain white. The only other problem I have is that there is a gap between 2 of the buttons across my bust; the shirts fit me perfectly everywhere else and I don't really have a large bust either. But, I did keep both shirts because of the positive features mentioned above. March 25, 2013
Great Positives & A Major Negative on this one! I've bought these shirts for many years because they are great; wearable for work with skirts, suits, or with jeans, shorts, and the price is extremely low for the overall quality of the shirt. Workmanship and added details are excellent (thanks LE for going back to a 2-button cuff plus a gauntlet button). They wear like iron-you CAN't wear them out! Fit is perfect (I'm a size 2P, 108#, 5', 32DD). The ONLY negative--and it is a big one for me is that the quality of fabric is going way downhill. The cotton used to be silkier with a finer or thinner texture--it's obvious the manufacturer is using a poorer grade of Supima. To be honest, I'd be willing to pay more for this shirt if the fabric was upgraded to its previous standard; it would still be well worth it. Oh yes--and whatever Supima grade IS used in the future--bring back more colors!!! Pretty shades of yellow, peach, brown, lavender, etc. One can only have so many white, blues, pinks and maybe green variations! March 22, 2013
