Women's Long Sleeve Oxford Shirt 4.3 5 12 12
Perfect style and fit I loved this shirt instantly. It's very comfortable and is perfect for cool weekends in the Spring, when you don't need a coat or jacket. This is really a great modest looking shirt for women and I'm so GLAD that there is NO long shirttail in the back. I was a longtime wearer of J.C. Penney's Cabin Creek Oxford shirts but they really were too masculine especially with that long shirttail in the back. Most of the Lands' End ladies button-down shirts hit just the right balance. Didn't work for me At 5'11", I have been in search of the perfect white dress shirt for 50 years. This was not it. Although it's labeled "Tall", the sleeves were too short and it was tight across the shoulders. The size 16 body fit just fine so I didn't want to move up a size and have it be baggy. I think they have runway models in mind when they tailor their Tall shirts. This would probably work well for someone very thin but not so much for those of us who are big boned as well as tall. Lovely colour, nice shirts Nice shirt, fits nicely, the fabric is a bit too sturdy for my taste, but that probably means it will last longer than my usual shirts. Lovely oxford french blue colour. Would definitely recommend. January 7, 2013
Great quality and fit! This oxford is a staple in my wardrobe. Perfect under a light sweater or on its own. Washes well and looks good when it dries. Wish there were more colors to pick from. December 8, 2012
Love this classic white shirt Got this oxford in white because I've been shopping for a classic white button up forever and had yet to find one to fit right. I'm 5'9" but with longer arms, normally wear a 6 or 8, and have a 36D bust. Most shirts I've tried are either too short in the arms, too tight in the bust, or too loose through the waist. Ordered this on sale in size 8 Tall in all honestly without much expectation, and it fits like I got it altered for my body. The arms are the exact perfect length, it fits in the bust without pulling at the buttons, and it's nipped in enough at the waist that I actually still look like I have a figure. The fabric is a nice weight/thickness as well. I haven't washed it yet so I hope it doesn't shrink, but if it washes well I'm ordering one in every color. December 6, 2012
Slightly longer sleeves and body makes this a good fit I love the fit of this and may order more. I am 5'6.5", 134 lbs, and have long arms, so chose the 6 in a tall. It looks and fits great for work but the fabric is a little stiffer and less comfortable than the "all cotton" original oxford. Great for work but not for cozy weekend wear. October 29, 2012
FINALLY!!! A shirt that fits my daughter! My daughter is 5 foot 2 1/2", and weighs just under 180. She is 12 and cup size is not relevant at the moment. Chest is 39 1/2 Waist 39 /12. I say all of these measurements because I want to stress that she has a TALL upper body. I am 6'2" and I have a 32 inseam if that gives an indication. Finding shirts that fit are HARD. Extremely hard. Annoyingly hard. Anything that fits in "width" is always too short in height. Add a little bit of a belly and you need an even LONGER shirt. After months of looking I ended up having references for Lands End. But I didnt want to pay the price, I thought for certain that I could find something elsewhere, for better and cheaper. JCPenney's oxford shirts (light blue) are discontinued.... forever. If you have $55-95 there are names I have never heard selling their version. I finally found a shirt that met the measurements and ordered the shirt from a resturant clothing store. Great shirt, texture is ok, almost rough, but comfortable. Cost less than Lands End... by a few dollars. But it was TOO SHORT. You ever see those people with their belly poking out from over their pants and under their shirts? (Shudder) So off to find a tall shirt. Finding a regular was hard, finding a tall was impossible. But again if I wanted to spend 55-95 dollars a shirt, I could get one that was thin, dry clean only, and not what I was looking for. Finally, took the plunge and bought from Lands End. Simple explanation: It fit, it was PERFECTLY long enough, it looked good, it was good quality and not a flimsy product. Worth every penny and will never look elsewhere. You have no idea how hard I looked and it was at Lands End all the time. Oh, the perfect fit? 16 tall. 18 reg was too much in the chest, too short, and too wide in shoulders. A 14 reg fit in shoulders but JUST almost tight in the chest, narrow in the shoulders and too short. Hope this helps someone. October 13, 2012
My "Go To" Shirt I've been a sucker for oxfords shirts my entire life. In high school, we were required to wear oxford shirts as part of our uniform and we always ordered them from LE. I'm about 5'8, 180 lbs. I ordered the 18 'Tall' and it wasn't too big(one of the best things about oxford shirts, they still look fabulous when a tad big), but I could definitely wear a turtle neck under this winter. I would like a more form fitting one, so I'm going to size down, but keep the 'Tall'. It hits me right under my hips (I have a long torso). Love that it doesn't wrinkle throughout the entire day. I've washed mine a few times now and does NOT shrink. I love the monogram on the left chest. I'm definitely going to pick up a few more! September 26, 2012
The shirt is a size small This shirt runs about a size small. Otherwise, everything is good about the shirt. I would suggest ordering one size larger than usual August 18, 2012
Best blouse I have ever owned!! I was a bit concerned when I ordered this blouse because I ordered 3 - yellow, pink and french blue, and I paid full price. I admit I was second guessing my judgement. But when I received my order, I was beyond excited and extremely pleased since every single blouse fit the same...perfectly! The quality was unbelievable, and the monogram (I had the french blue monogramed with my initials) was superb. I have worn these to work, shopping, and out to social events and every time have I've worn a blouse I receive compliments on how well I look! The best thing I can say...I never have to worry again that "I have nothing to wear" when I open my closet doors. Now, I have 3 beautiful blouses to choose from that fit any situation. The hardest choice I have now is ... which color! They are definitely worth the price! If you find these on sale, I'd recommend buying one in every color! August 11, 2012
