It's a beautiful sweater - but the wool it's made of is too scratchy for me!
I love the color and the stripes of this sweater! I've never been one of those people who had problems wearing wool - not even 100% wool scarves. But five minutes after putting this on this particular sweater, I had to take it off, and realized that there actually are some wools, at least for me, now - due to their extremely itchy quality, that I would never be able to wear.
How I've managed to live almost 60 years w/out running into wool that was too scratchy for me until now is true mystery to me! Maybe my skin has grown more sensitive over the past several years. And there's also the chance that the particular wool of this sweater is simply far scratcher than any other wool I've ever tried on prior to now.
We're all different - I've known many people since high school days who could not tolerate any sort of wool at all. It's too bad there are so few ways to tell, before actually trying on, what wool will be too scratchy for one person to another.

Nice fabric but unflattering shape
I bought this sweater for the lovely aqua color (there are too many dreary winter sweaters out there), as well as the merino, a dependable and sturdy wool. The length was also a plus, as i am tall. But horizontal stripes are rarely flattering on anyone, and the sweater has a blocky, rectangular shape -- some waist shaping would help here -- that made me look like a defensive lineman.

flattering fit
Very happy with this sweater. I have long arms and the sleeves are long enough. Overall length is good and it fits without being clingy. Fairly lightweight, so not bulky. I chose "Raisin" which is a dark brownish purple, stripe is tan, good neutral colors. More colors would be great.

Great Sweater
I have this sweater on right now -- and I've worn it often since receiving it. Fits well and is very comfortable -- lightweight but plenty warm. Love that it's long enough to wear with leggings, yet it also goes well with jeans.

this sweater pilled after wearing for one hour!
i loved this sweater and then after only 1 hr of wearing it, it started to pill badly. it is really cute (minus the pilling) and goes with just about anything but i'm sending it back because it looks awful! i would have ordered another one as well, but for the quality.

Love love love this cardigan
FInally, a wool cardigan that isn't bulky, heavy, or particularly itchy. This sweater fits true-to-size, and for once the problem of too-short sleeves is not a problem either. I purchased this sweater in the light aqua and burgundy, and both are gorgeous.

It's so warm, I love it!!
This sweater is thinner than I expected but I wore it over my turtle neck and it was so warm. I love the color of the grey one. It's a little longer than I usually wear but I think I can get used to it.

Warm yet light
This fits nicely... dresses up or down. I've worn it with jeans, a knit tweed skirt, and black stretch pants...looks good with all. I like the length, the pockets, and the lightweight warmth.
