Smooth and sleek
The perfect t-shirt! True to description, it is fitted, not boxy, but happily, it is not skintight. The fabric is thin but not too thin - I dislike thick, chunky t-shirts, but with thinner knits, you often get a tissue-like transparency. Not with this -- you can't see a bra outline. The wide v-neck is quite deep -- I'm small-chested so it's fine, but a more voluptuous woman might want to go for the scoop neck instead.

Favorite Long Sleeve T
I love this T-Shirt! I ordered it in M (10-12), black. It's the perfect length, mid-hips, not too tight for a normal figure, not skinny, and has a flattering V Neck neckline, revealing just enough decollete (cleavage). Great for layering under fleece and can easily be dressed up with a nice pair of slacks or down, with Denim. I will order more colors! Simply fabulous.

SOMETIMES CHANGE IS NOT GOOD
I first purchased 3 of these around 3 years ago. In womens 3x. A few weeks ago I purchased another 4. I assumed they would be made the same, but NO! Of course not. I tried all 4 on, just to be certain it wasn't just the first one that fit differently. They just couldn't leave well enough alone, like most companies & I'm really angry. The new Tee's have a MUCH wider and lower V-neck, showing my bra & bra straps. No, I don't want to wear yet another top under it. I don't like layering because I'm wide enough & I find it uncomfortable.. Also, the new ones are about 1/2 inch shorter if not a full inch, AND they are a tighter fit. I have not gained any weight. I'm down 16 lbs. & if I had purchased the 2x, instead of the 3x, I would have not fit into them properly. So they're definitely smaller. Why Lands End felt the insane need to alter these great tees, I don't know. Or is it really bad quality control? I don't think I can buy anything else from Lands End because I have zero confidenced in what I will get. I find things getting worse...& not just in quality.

Completely in love with this tee!
Product reviews are invaluable for someone like me who prefers online to in-store shopping! So I feel it is my duty to join the chorus of customers who are in love & obsessed with the cut and fabric of this tee shirt. The sleeves are tapered but not tight, the neckline low enough but not too revealing and the the body fitted but not clinging.
It is a pleasure to pull this on; the material is somewhat drapey, soft, comfy and comes out beautifully from the wash. No or minimal shrinkage and the sizing is perfect. PM for 5'3", 145 lbs, pear-shaped.
What an array of fantastic colors sure to suit all complexions. Between the short and long sleeved versions, I have seven and undoubtedly more to come. Lastly, it's a fantastic value, especially on sale!

This V-neck is soft, comfy, and a bit sexy!
As so many before me have said, the fabric is wonderfully soft, and stretchy in a good way. I do like that the V-neck is a bit deeper than most others, but not too deep as to be "suggestive" at all. I bought this in a Petite L, as it was described as (and is) fitted. Even for a petite, the sleeves are a tad long, but the stretch allows easy "push up"
The modal fabric blend seems even better than the 2 other tops I have from LE in the same material - feels smoother and softer. A great lightweight top for layering or wearing on its own. I got it in red, which seems no longer available, but I love the color.

The Very Best Long Sleeve V-Neck Shirt I've Ever Owned!
I love this shirt's fabric. The sleeves stretch so I can push them up when doing dishes and they don't fall down and get wet. It is stretchy fabric but does not have as much stretch as the long sleeve V-neck that Land's End offered five or so years ago. With those, I found that they shrunk when washed and dried in a dryer and they became very tight and too clinging. This fabric does not do that.
The fabric has a beautiful drape and a very comfortable, silky smooth feel. Excellent quality. I've purchased almost every color plus two black and two white. I've washed them all and have worn a different one every day since I received them.
The V-neck is lower than the old ones and it is so much more flattering. The photos are a good representation of the V-neck. It's not a skinny V; rather it is somewhat wide. A beautiful shape.

Perfect weight for casual wear!
I purchased the red top and I love it! I wear a cami underneath since this is somewhat lower cut. This is true to size and a lovely shape.

This is the v-neck top I have been looking for!
The neck on this top is perfect, not too revealing (no cleavage) and not that shallow v-neck that looks like athletic wear. It is flattering, but not too tight. I am 5'4" and weigh 125 and the petite medium is perfect. The fabric has a nice weight and feel. I purchased it in several colors!

Love it
I love these tops and ordered several in different colors. Unlike a lot of Lands End tops, it's fitted and doesn't leave me looking dumpy and shapeless. The flip side to that is that it's fitted and shows off all your curves. I usually need a large in other stores, but a Lands End medium fits me great.

Very disappointed. I had last year's v neck and loved it. The v on this year's model is much too low and not at all comfortable. I returned every one
I love the material and was very disappointed when I received this year's version.
