fits nicely, hangs right
Really like this cardigan - it is a classic style. If you have a short neck the neckline will land at or above your collarbones. Glad to buy it on sale!

Pilling problem too!
I wore the sweater for a couple of months and then noticed pilling on the back. I was very disappointed. I returned it without any issues -- thanks Lands End for making that process pain free. I have bought cashmere sweaters from Lands End in the past and never had the pilling issue before so I am hoping you can solve it!

Beautiful soft classic
This is a classic cardigan that keeps its good looks, even after being washed.
I have several in different colours and this one is a beautiful emerald green.

Terrible pilling for this price!
Not sure what colors the other who said it did not pill ordered but I got the royal blue and it was horrible.
Color was gorgeous, fit and feel great but by the second wearing the pills under the arms were embarrassing enough to make me send it back. I don't mind paying this price but not for this quality.
Land's End, what's happened to your quality?

Mixed feelings about this sweater
I was trying to match a previous sweater that I had bought from Lands' End which is too big now that I have lost weight. This sweater fit just right; but did not really have that wonderful, soft, luxurious feel of cashmere. It almost did not feel like cashmere (judging from previous sweaters that I have). It as not worth the price to me; but I kept it because I could not find another comparable one at this time of year.

Great fabric fit a little boxy
I absolutely love the fabric of this sweater. I first bought the crew neck long-sleeved cashmere sweater and liked it so much that I bought this cardigan too. I have bought LE cashmere for three years in a row and like this one the best by far. The knit feels a little finer (smoother) and this year's doesn't pill. I have worn this and the crew neck several times and, while the previous versions would pill a little, this year's hasn't pilled at all. The fit is more boxy than the LE cotton cardigans I have bought in the past year (ribbing on the bottom isn't as tight) so I sized down one size. I like a more fitted sweater and wear a petite small in the cotton cardigan but bought a petite XS in this (I am 5' 6 1/2" and weigh 118). Love it!!!!

I am disappointed!
The style/fit of sweater is fine but I’m disappointed. I own many of your "fabulous" Cashmere Sweaters that I purchased 5/6 years ago & have worn & traveled the world in. The quality of the material appears to have decreased over the years & with this purchase the cashmere yarn is much thinner. Also, even though you show the black cardigan on the picture with white buttons (I failed to notice), it only serves to cheapen the look of the sweater. Why would you do that & what were you thinking? I may replace white buttons with black buttons (color of cardigan), as the sweater will look 100% more luxurious than way. Land’s End should know that & you should also be watching the weight & quality of your cashmere.

Rich classic look
This sweater surprised me with its plush feel and overall quality. I was hesitant at first because of comments that others found the sweater to be too short in length. But this fit me perfectly, even though I am 5'7" and wear an XS. Pearl buttons finish off the classy look. I purchased this to wear on a cruise, but I know I will get many years of both casual and formal wearings of this gorgeous sweater. This is my second Lands' End cashmere sweater, and am thinking about getting another in the deep red.

Fabric not what I'd hoped for
The style and fit of this cardigan are fine, however, I am disappointed with the fabric. I own 7 or 8 Lands End cashmere sweaters and I am sad to say that the quality of the material has decreased over the years. My first sweater is probably 10 years old, I've worn it 50 times and it still looks and feels great. It came in a cotton bag and I really felt like I was purchasing something special. The other sweaters (including this one) are much thinner and "itchy". All of the labels say "100% cashmere, made in China" so I'm not sure if Lands End changed suppliers or what happened. I wish that Lands End would take a good, hard look at the quality of this product (and bring back the cotton bags!).

Love the color and fabric is so soft and cozy.
I ordered the petite large and it fits perfectly. Love the vibrant lapis color and have received many compliments on it. I always buy the matching shell for a complete outift, which I did in this case, too. The quality seems so much better than the past 2 or 3 years, as they would easily pill, but this seems so much better. I have a cashmere set from Land's End that is probably 15 years old and shows no pilling at all, so top quality yarns make a difference. I also ordered the Tropic sea set earlier and love that color as well. I wear these for lots of occasions, as I feel dressy in a sweater set. I'm retired, so church and social events would be the typical places of wear. Always feel nice and warm in this as I live in MN.
