Women's Long Sleeve Cashmere Cardigan
Wonderful quality and great fit- much more ample than the following year's model which I had to size up in. I do wish Lands End would provide buttons that match the colour of the sweater- the black one has black buttons but the red one has white ones. I will replace them.

I love this sweater. It is not bulky, but it is very warm It holds its shape -- no drooping or stretching. It feels wonderful and it's true to size. I feel like a million dollars in it. I just bought another one.

I ordered A few cashmere sweaters and could not wait fr them to come in. They are ok. I expected the same quality as in years passed. I was disappointed . The fit is perfect, it's fully fashioned and nicely constructed. Just not the quality of cashmere I have grown to love . I personally think Talbots cashmere is of higher quality. I'm keeping this sweater because I did get it on sale and its very cold and I truly needed a sweater. It's fine for me. I would not give it as a gift though. As another person wrote, I'd wear it to do yard work and around the house , etc. I expect better from LE

Nice sweater, but not as high quality as years past
I bought a Lands End cashmere cardigan two years ago and it's well made and amazingly soft. I'm still wearing it but wanted another color. This one appeared to be the same sweater, but the fabric doesn't feel the same. It isn't as rich and has more of a scratchy feeling. It's made in China. It is still superior to what I've seen in my local dept store, so I will recommend it. But sadly it's not the quality cashmere of season's past.

Not the former wondefully soft cashmere
The sweater is nice enough as regular cotton sweaters go. But this one disappointed me. I have bought Lands End cashmere cardigans in an array of colors in previous years. Now I bought one in ivory color. The fit and drape are fine. The yarn is far below the quality I used to love. The tag states 100% cashmere but this is difficult to believe. It's just not a nice luxuriously soft fluffy feel. It reminds me of a sweater I'd wear to go out and work in the yard. Wouldn't be bad if I hadn't paid for an expensive cashmere sweater. Too bad.

Luxurious, warm, & beautiful.
Long a fan of the Supima cotton cardigans (I have them in maybe a dozen colors) but buying my cashmere cardigans from another retailer, I decided to replace a couple of worn ones with this Land's End model, and I am hooked! The quality of the cashmere is superb, and much nicer than that of the J. Jill sweaters I had been buying. The colors are deep and jewel-like, and the fit is good too. I also appreciate the classic styling. I ordered one size up in the cashmere from the size I buy in the Supima, based on the garment measurements supplied by Customer Serivce, and it is perfect. I only wish the new 2012 colors were as extensive and interesting as these that are now on sale.

I'm wearing it already
A disciple of prep chic, I'm loving the styling, the grosgrain ribbon detail and the classic colour of the true navy. In the warmer months, I wear cardigans like cashmere T-shirts beneath my jackets so am appreciating its lighter weight. A re-centered button at the bust would be my only recommended improvement. I know. Everyone a critic. Thanks again Land's End.
