Kudos to our design team for this lovely ballet. It’s a joy to look at and a pleasure to wear. The near-seamless upper, the contrast-color trim and slender outsole all come together in a graceful silhouette. And underfoot, there’s a foam-cushioned insole to soften your step. Imported.

No way this is for a wide foot I purchased the 11D or 11 Wide size. There is absolutely no way this is made for a wide foot. At the narrowest arch part it is no more than 2 inches....literally making that part of the shoes half way in my foot. Something went wrong here. It's too bad. I really like the width of the gatas skimmers but wanted something a little cuter and dressier. April 19, 2013
Avoid if you have a wide foot!!!! I got these thinking they would look decent. Wrong! Tons of toe-cleavage. My foot barely fit. If you have a regular foot, get them!!! Forget it if you have a wide foot though. They are very cute. Not to bad on the comfort scale. Just not for me. :( April 16, 2013
Lovely and comfortable I often find flats uncomfortable, but the arch padding in these makes them extremely comfy. Dove gray/coral color combo is on trend and perfect for spring. April 16, 2013
recommended for sleeker feet These are CUTE, classy shoes! I ordered the black suede with chestnut/brown trim. My left foot is wider than my right and the wide part occurs where this shoe rounds the corner. So classy with black tights, but I don't really do them service by altering the total look with my 'fat foot'. No inner support built in, so I have added arch supports. They are also easily 'stretched', as the leather is so soft, so you may need to order 1/2 size smaller?? Boy are they cute though!! January 28, 2013
Amazed at the number of negative reviews here, because to me this is a fabulous shoe. The Lila Piped Ballet shoe is beautifully classic -- a simple design with a lovely silhouette and detailing -- and supremely comfortable, even on my problem feet. It really CAN be worn day or night, for dress or casual (lots of shoes aspire to this on paper, but don't meet that goal in the real world). Best of all, while this shoe looks light and elegant on the foot, it stands up to some pretty hard wear (I'm in mine for days on end and do a lot of walking). Highly recommend! December 27, 2012
What a shame These are such cute shoes! However, they are unbelievably tight and narrow, and I went a size up. Too bad. December 25, 2012
so uncomfortable! i have a few land's end shoes and usually they are so comfortable. not these! there is a weird piping in the insole that rubs your foot. do not recommend!!!! December 20, 2012
Very nice shoe, though just a tad noisy underfoot The only reason I didn't give this shoe five stars is because, on me anyway, it was a bit noisy/clunky when walking on hard surfaces, especially for a rubber sole. Squeaked a little, too, upon flexion. But I would buy another pair anyway if I found a color combo I liked (these were the handsome black w/brown piping), because they are really nice looking, classy and flattering, and comfortable. (As another reviewer reported, they felt a tad short upon first try but quickly adapted to my foot.) I wore them out to dinner tonight with my Starfish slim leg pants and thought the shoes looked quite graceful, even on my PXL, chubby-footed self. The best part may be that they don't gap when walking, a common defect in flats. Definitely worth a try! December 2, 2012
Nice, but not worth the price Pros: - very comfortable, like wearing slippers - Nice color contrast Cons: - They fit very wide, and run large, so sizing down may be better - The black suede is nice, but not out of this world. The shoes don't look the way one would expect from considering their price. - No support whatsoever - it truly is like wearing floppy slippers. November 13, 2012
Terrible fit for a wide foot. The shoe looks cute, but it gapped on my wide feet. It also runs big. Shows a lot of toe cleavage. October 28, 2012
