I bought these bottoms along with the matching top and am very pleased. I sized up due my hips (I thought about getting my typical size which is a 6) and am glad I did! The 8 fits me really well and I think a size smaller would have been too tight in the hip area. I think it gives more coverage as well which I like. I originally thought the suit tied on the sides but it doesn't. The ties are sewed on to the sides. Still really cute and works well for me.
