Overall love this product- expands when you are in the water
I wore this for the first time yesterday in the pool. It gets larger as you swim so you need to wear a bikini top underneath. Runs a bit big. I am a true size Medium in Lands End tops, but could have gotten away with a small. Love the concept- I've been looking for an attractive rash guard to protect my skin- this is a winner!

Beautiful even as an evening shirt, feels lovely, but terrible washing instructions.
I love the way this shirt looks and feels, but had I known it must be hand-washed - I would not buy it.

fabulous sun shirt!
This is a perfect swim shirt/general sun cover for the beach! Wore it almost every day on our recent trip to Cancun. It was incredibly hot there, but this felt great (nice, very lightweight, so did not hang heavily when wet). It is not tight like a rash guard. I'm a size 6/8 top and the S was comfy, would have liked just slightly simmer fit.
Complaint: I have the white/orange leaf pattern - the white became yellowy by the end of the trip (in the water a lot) and does not seem to have returned to the original colour. I have had the same issue with my Lands End Tankini top in White floral pattern. The colour has also developed a nasty yellowy/green tinge that doesn't seem to come out. Disappointed about that. Otherwise would give 5 sails.

Comfortable Sun Protection in a Well-Fitting Attractive Product
I haven't swum in this product yet, but have used it and most of the other colors & patterns, for outdoor wear for casual activities. I also wear them for working outside, under my uniform shirt, without it getting too warm. They all look great and fit well in size 1X. That is the size I usually order from most manufacterers, but sometimes doesn't fit properly in other L.E. products. These fit perfectly, and are quite comfortable. They seem to wear well, and I have washed them in the washer on cold, light or gentle cycle. I am very satisfied with this product, and have them in most of the colors and patterns that are suitable for me. I believe they will be great for the beach or pool too!

Very nice top
After reading the reviews, I ordered one size larger (medium) to get a longer sleeve length. It fits beautifully and is quite nice looking. I will get much use out of this, I am sure.

Fits True, Great in the Water, and Looks Great
I bought this Swim Tee for snorkeling in the Bahamas since I burn easily. It fits true to size and performs perfect in the water. The SPF factor is accurate - no burning. It isn't too narrow or too wide when in the water and doesn't balloon up and fill with water. I was afraid the long sleeves would be too constraining but I didn't even know I was wearing the tee. And looks great out of the water with the mid-rise bikini bottoms - I bought the blue leaf print tee with a 4 piece bikini.

Lightweight, fits well, and cute!
I love this swim tee! It is fitted without being clingy. The fabric is very lightweight. I usually wear a size 8-10 and the small fits very well. Highly recommended.

Great shirt -but not good for sensitive skin.
Great shirt -but not good for sensitive skin. I have sensitive skin issues and the spandex is to much for me. I was thinking this shirt with the nylon in it could be worn as a sunscreen shirt to hike in. However if you are not getting wet/swimming it is hot to wear because it holds in the heat.

color difference
As for many Lands' End items I buy, I have to buy two different sizes because I never know what is going to fit. Plus I don't want to miss out that if I need another size the item might be no longer available. I purchased this item in yellow in XL and in 1X. I usually take a L/XL depending on the item and fabric content. I am 5'11" and medium build and I am more interested in the shoulder and length fit. The XL fits great so the 1X goes back. There is one thing I noticed between the sizes, the color. The XL yellow is a yellow/orange color. Very nice, a deeper mustard like yellow, but not a bright yellow. The 1X is a very nice light bright yellow. So if you are expecting a light bright yellow in regular sizes you might be getting the darker yellow (light mustard) color instead. Just thought I would pass along my observation of the color difference.
