nice fit, nice drape, easy to make a dressy outfit
this dress fits a little large, but I normally go down a size at land's end.
The drape is elegant, and I have accessorized it for some dressy events.

this dress is so comfortable but not too casual
I love this dress and would definitely recommend it. I wore this out to dinner on my birthday and also to church. I was afraid that the fabric would be too clingy and unflattering but it flows so well and doesn't cling to your stomach or other trouble areas. The fabric makes it incredibly comfortable but the cut makes it look dressy and not too casual. It looks as good in person as it does on the model which isn't always true. I also like the sleeves, it is rare to find a dress with sleeves, but it is perfect for a spring day or even a cool summer night.

This dress is a lovely, spring color. It fits perfect and is very comfortable.

Cute Dress
I wanted to love this dress, but it just didn't work for me. The color was not as vivid as online. (coral rock) The dress is very unforgiving if you have extra weight. I paired it with a cute thick belt, but the belt just accentuated my back fat...haha. I spent too much time looking for undergarmets to make this dress fit right. At the end, I decided it wasn't worth the hassle.

Stunning and elegant designer type dress
Quality excellent - flows beautifully and looks just as it does on the model. I am hippy but you wouldn't know it with this dress. So comfortable and just gorgeous - I chose the coral color and will pair it with a long, feminine necklace (like pearls, etc.) and kitten heels and wear it for the first time on Easter Sunday and many other times as well. A definite design cut above previous Lands End dresses!! Brava!

Pleasantly surprised.
Just got this in the mail today in the blue. Was a bit leary about it from the picture but thought I would order it anyway to check it out. I absolutely love it!! The fabric drapes beautifully and feels soft and smooth without being clingy. No need for a slip at all. I guess whether you like the higher waist depends on your body shape. I have a bit of a tummy so I like it because it drapes over it nicely. The hemline is cool because it is so different and I find it very attractive.. My only concern is keeping it away from my cats as it does show fluff easily because of the dark colour. I am really looking forward to wearing it.

Disappointed again
I think this might be my 14th attempt at purchasing a LE dress. Why do I keep trying? Because they always look so nice and easy to wear in the ads but I haven't kept one dress I've ever ordered. Why? Usually the belt/tie is placed so high that I look and feel like I'm wearing a maternity dress. This dress has the elastic and belt slightly lower but not by much. The blue is a pretty color but the dress looks like a night gown on (it's shapeless and plain) and the tulip hem looks like the dress has a mullet. Why is it so hard to find normal, well-fitting dresses that reflect my age (41)? I don't want to look 17 but I certainly don't want to look 70.
