Small top
The neckline is flattering on this dress, but the rest of the top is tight across the shoulders and bust. I am flat chested and I can't imagine how it would work for anyone else. Moving up to the next size caused the skirt part to be way to big.

Beautiful dress
This dress is my first Lands End purchase; I took a chance buying it online and just hoping it would fit and look good. Well, it surpassed everything I hoped. The cut is extremely flattering and slenderizing on me (size XL, pear-shaped), and it's perfect for work but could easily be dressed up with the right jewelry and shoes. I'm not a huge fan of draped necklines, but on this dress it's not overdone and actually frames the face quite well. I ordered the red color -- lovely, muted, yet vibrant. I'm going to order a few other colors now. Love, love this dress!

Feminine and Fun Summer Dress :-)
I think this is a lovely summer dress from its sophisticated, drapey neckline and cute cut cap sleeves that are "bra-proof-not-showing" under the arm. Thanks LE :-) Nice knee length and I am 5'9". The blue-grass is very summery. Would recommend it!!

Great dress!
I just bought the cabbage purple. The colour is lovely and the fabric is great. Comfortable and flattering. I cut off the belt loops and wear with a contrasting belt or no belt at all.

Beautiful
I have had so many compliments on this dress. People ask me if I've lost weight every time I wear it. The neck line is nice and conservative enough for work.

This dress....
This dress has very comfortable fabric, and I love the cabbage purple color, but the drape neck can be very revealing and is not secure enough, it drapes/falls when you so much as lean over, pick up anything, reach, or whatever. I also wish it was longer--there are tall people who like to have below-knee length! If you are even slightly above average tall, this dress will be well above your knees.

Didn't like the drape
The dress fit well in my regular size and I loved the length (I'm 5'5"). The green color was very pretty. The only thing I didn't like was the drape yoke. I just couldn't get it to lay the right way and I knew it would always bother me so I'll send it back. With a regular scoop, sqaure, or v-neck this would've been a terrific dress.

Perfect color, perfect size, and so comfy!
I had almost given up on Land's End. I am very small and have had issues in the past with Land's End clothing not fitting true to my small size (most things fit me like a potato sack). BUT, this dress (I ordered a petite, size 2) fits absolutely true to size and is SO flattering in every way. The green that I ordered is gorgeous, and everything about this dress is very comfortable. I have gotten many compliments on this dress, and people are shocked when they hear it's from Land's End because of how fresh and youthful and fitting the dress is. Well done, Land's End!

nice and simple
the fabric is a little lighter than then ponte knit, has a great flow over the body and the shape is very feminine. I bought green and love the ease of wear and comfort. Have not machine washed it yet, but will only use hand wash cold on machine cycle and hang to dry. All you need to add is a nice pair of shoes and some pretty jewelry and you are ready to go to work, dinner , brunch the park anywhere anytime, just depends on how you accessorize.

I really like this dress
I was surprised at how much I like this dress. I ordered the purple one first, and after I tried it on I came back for the black one. It has no hanger appeal whatsoever so I wouldn't have given it a second glance had it been in the store, but it looks lovely on (in my opinion). I was dubious about the drape-neck from looking at the picture, but it is an interesting design with the yoke piece and is actually quite flattering. I bought the 2x, and it fits true to size without much wiggle room. I am more bottom heavy with a small bust, and I wore a 1-pc. bodyshaper underneath when I tried the dress on. Because of the shaper and the thicker jersey these dresses are made of, it didn't show any of my lumpy spots. This dress could certainly be worn whenever, but it seems to be slightly dressier and more suited to the office, church, weddings, etc. The black one looks especially nice paired with heels and pearls for a classic look. This dress may not be for everybody, but even my plus-sized self felt feminine in it so it couldn't hurt giving it a try!
