I really like this dress
I was surprised at how much I like this dress. I ordered the purple one first, and after I tried it on I came back for the black one. It has no hanger appeal whatsoever so I wouldn't have given it a second glance had it been in the store, but it looks lovely on (in my opinion). I was dubious about the drape-neck from looking at the picture, but it is an interesting design with the yoke piece and is actually quite flattering. I bought the 2x, and it fits true to size without much wiggle room. I am more bottom heavy with a small bust, and I wore a 1-pc. bodyshaper underneath when I tried the dress on. Because of the shaper and the thicker jersey these dresses are made of, it didn't show any of my lumpy spots. This dress could certainly be worn whenever, but it seems to be slightly dressier and more suited to the office, church, weddings, etc. The black one looks especially nice paired with heels and pearls for a classic look. This dress may not be for everybody, but even my plus-sized self felt feminine in it so it couldn't hurt giving it a try!

This dress is not for a woman with any kind of figure. The fabric lays awkwardly and it shows every flaw. Stay aware. Returned item.
