Women's Knit A-line Midcalf Skirt
"Necessary Knits" Skirt in Mid-Calf Length, Please
Please bring back the 34" length Necessary Knits skirt. In colors. With pockets. That was one of the best darn items Lands' End ever made, but you had to go and discontinue it.

Nice shape and very comfortable.
I bought this skirt in a petite size so i wouldn't need to hem it (I'm 5'3"). Wore it almost every day through a 9-day vacation in Spain. I love the shape, but would be happy if it didn't flare out quite as much at the bottom, and if the waist was just a bit smaller. Please bring this skirt back in colors - and with pockets!!!

Cool, Comfy Skirt
I like the feel and weight of the material-as I expected from LE. The only complaint I have is that after washing and drying as per washing instructions, the hem curls up, but this can easily be solved by a quick iron. The length is perfect and the sizing is well-done. The elastic waistband makes it comfortable.
Thank you, LE!

I have had this skirt (Navy, Size Small) for about 3 weeks now and have worn it 5 or 6 times already. It is a nice weight of knit (not too flimsy), a good shade of navy blue which goes with several knit tops I already own, and a great length for me (mid-calf and I am 5'7"). I do not have presentable knees and prefer below-the knee skirts. I have worn this skirt for work and church with navy wedges and patterned knit tops and think it looks very nice. I am extremely pleased with this skirt!

I ordered with some misgivings as I would have preferred the skirt to have pockets. (Are men's pants ever made without pockets??). However because I really wanted a navy skirt I purchased it. Well, when it arrived it appeared to be at minimum 2 sizes larger. I ordered a 2X, per packing list received a 2X, size stamped on skirt stated 2X however when you held it up it had to be at least a 4X. Really disappointing.

Comfortable summer skirt
I purchased this shirt in a medium, taupe color and it runs a bit large but is very comfortable. The length is below the knee which is good for us in our 60s who don't want to wear stockings with our skirts. It can be dressed up or down. The color is good for the summer, spring and fall.

comfortable skirt, easy wear.
I was sad when the longer knit skirts you used to carry were discontinued. They were a thicker knit, hung beautifully and smoothed the body line. I liked the longer length too for sitting comfortably. The fold-down waist design which came next did not work well for this plus sized person--material too thin, the fold down waist did not stay folded down and skirt was too short for real comfort, especially in cooler weather.
I was very happy to see this new design and am pleased with it. I like the fabric, it's easy to wear, thick enough to hang well, but thin enough to not be hot. You just wash it and hang it and it goes with everything. This skirt's length works well. (If you made a longer version, I would buy that too!) . Very comfortable. I did find the waist to be a bit larger than other same-size LE items.
This skirt will spend a lot of time OUT of my closet. More colors please!
One overall LE request: I know some will sell out, but please begin with ALL colors for ALL sizes in ALL your products.

no no and no. VERY flared, sized down as advised. Stick with your normal size if you dare risk it. going back immediately.

Waist too large but material is wonderful
It's going back, but I regret parting with it. The material is wonderful. It's about 3 inches too wide at the waist. I should have know that because I have always had a bit slimmer waist compared to my hip size, so maybe you won't have a difficulty with it at all. If it had a bit of elastic I probably could have worn it, but as is I think it will be right for a limited number of customers.

Excellent basic skirt
Fits well, hangs well, well-constructed. I wish it came in more colors!
