awesome slenderizing suit
The suit is very flattering and supportive, exactly what I wanted. I'm 157 and 5'7" athletic build, need support in the chest and belly and the size 12 suit fits the bill. The torso measurement was spot-on, I am exactly 64" and the suit fits perfectly. Make sure you measure this on yourself, and if you are any higher than the "regular" measurement, go with the "Long" so the straps and crotch aren't too tight.
My two minor dislikes are #1 around the back strap area where my skin rolls over the elastic; and #2 the rear. I can't do much about #1 but lose weight, which may not even help the skin issue. Concerning #2, I wish the elastic wasn't quite so tight around the leg openings, as I bulge out slightly. I actually have a nice shapely muscly buttocks area and so really don't need to be cinched in so tightly there, and I wouldn't mind a suit that reveals a bit more of the butt. However, the low leg openings add "length" to my torso which I need, being slightly short-waisted, more apple- than pear-shaped. Also, what I really needed most "in public" is the supportive, slenderizing features for my chest and belly; so I will tolerate the thigh elastic. Leg opening is quite low and goes around the top of the thigh rather than revealing any butt cheek. I would take out the heavy-duty elastic around the leg opening and make it more of a smooth extension of the Slendertex stuff. I would also add some non-slip gripping material like what they put on the leg openings of higher-end bike shorts or the shorts part of athletic skorts. I've bought some of the newer technology from popular athletic-wear sellers, and the non-slip stuff is great. I'm surprised no one has tried it out with a bathing suit.

Lovely, but not for a D cup.
Really like the style and shaping. Up to a C cup should be fine in this suit.
Sad to return it.

Glad I got the Long Torso size
I haven't bought a suit in 17 years, so it was nice to find that materials and designs have improved so much. I got this in Long Torso, since I'm 5'10", and anything smaller would have been too small. The fit is great, very pleased with it.

Short for a long!
Ordered through catalog. LE long torso suits usually fit me perfectly, but this was short - even the long length. Sad, because it was really an adorable suit. Just not with my top hanging out... Returned to store.

I loved the color and style but it was way too revealing for my larger chest size. Had to return.
I'm in my 40s and don't feel the need to show my entire cleavage. I'm having trouble finding a suit that fits that also covers my breasts. It seems that the only option in the slender suits in a D cup is black. I'd like to see some color and some cleavage covered. Thanks.

Runs Small!
I really wanted this swim suit to work. I am only 5' 6", but I am long waisted. I wear a size 10 in most clothes and ordered up a size to a 12 after reading reviews, and in a long. The long fit perfectly, though the suit was a tad tighter than I would have preferred. The real problem was there just wasn't enough room in the top to keep me from looking like I was wearing a swim suit two sizes too small. I wish this was available in a D cup. Really liked the style, but it just didn't work out for me.

I ordered the suit with a long torso, since I am tall. I have a tough time finding a one-piece that fits comfortably. It fits great & is really comfortable. I like the built-in underwire.

Makes me actually look good in a bathing suit!!
I was about to give up hope on finding a one piece suit that actually looked decent on me, while hiding some of my belly flab at the same time. This suit is "THE ONE"! I ordered up a size from my usual, as this is a slenderizing suit and they do run tight. I am 5'3", and the Petite is a perfect length: no pressure on the straps or pulling on the behind. This suit is very complimentary to the body! Not only does it make me look like I lost a few pounds, but it also gives me a figure..... something that I haven't had in a long time. I am a D cup, and the underwire top lifts up the girls and gives me some cleavage without being revealing. Got it in the magenta which is a beautiful color! Now when I go to the pool or the beach, I won't feel self conscious. LE, thank you for your great customer service. I ordered many suits that I returned before I finally tried this one. You have a winner here! Please offer more colors!
