Perfect for me! Having tried several popover style blouses from various retailers, I tried this one on a whim, not expecting it to fit. To my surprise, the fit was perfect for me. The hidden placket gives the appearance of a popover with the ease of a button up shirt. It is nicely fitted through the bust and eased through the body. I am a usual 14/16 in LE size, carrying some extra weight in the middle and found this shirt very flattering. Will work well with skinny jeans, capris or shorts. I purchased in white and pink, thinking to go back for blue while my size is still in stock. (5'6', 175lbs.) March 26, 2013
Fit, style not up to standard I ordered this shirt one size larger than my many other Lands End and Canvas shirts. I wanted a relaxed, weekend shirt to toss over t-shirts. This shirt fit like it was one size too small, not one size too big. And the fabric is not the soft feel promised. The color was as shown. This one goes right back. March 14, 2013
Wanted it to work, but had to send it back From the front, this shirt looked great -- no gaping in the chest and it hung nicely. There's not much shape to it, but I was looking for something fairly casual, so that didn't bother me. I also really liked the colour -- it reminded me of strawberry ice cream. But when I turned to the side, the silhouette was rather unfortunate. There's a box pleat at the back of the shirt, and it adds quite a lot of volume at the back. It was unflattering on me, and I had to send it back. If you're bigger in the chest, or have broad shoulders, this shirt might work better for you. It's just not for me (I'm about 33" in the chest, and 5'4". I had a size 0, which was plenty big enough). Oh -- the material and construction seemed good, but I can't really comment since I didn't wash it. March 12, 2013
Runs small on me. I bought this in blue. The color is beautiful and the fabric is really soft. I'm 5'9" and purchased this shirt in a size 6. I won't be able to tuck this in because it's too short on me for that. The sleeves are also short on me as well. I would have to wear the sleeves rolled up some. The sleeves are also a little tight in the shoulder and bicep/tricep. Now, around the chest and stomach it's a perfect fit. Not too tight and not too big. If you purchase this, you may consider buying up a size. February 27, 2013
