Description

The latest version of an all-time favorite for serious winter weather.

Our Squall® Jacket has been around 27 years and counting. And as a member of the legendary Squall family, this jacket has all the famous Squall features you'd expect — and now, more. The durable nylon shell has a WindCheck® barrier to make it windproof. Plus it has a water-resistant DriOff™ finish, so water beads up, rolls off. The inside is lined with warmer, softer ThermaCheck®-300 fleece. And finally, our jacket is topped off with a fleece-lined hood for extra warmth. (It's easily detachable when not in use.) Adjustable cuffs and bottom let you seal up or vent as needed. Inside zip pocket holds cell phone, MP3 player. Machine wash. Imported.

This is a great spring jacket. I wore it from 12 to 0 degrees Celsius This is a great spring jacket. I wore it from 12 to 0 degrees Celsius. She is warm, waterproof and well washed in the washing machine. Warm collar does not allow the wind to penetrate to the neck. With Fleece jacket can be worn in the winter. Perfect for skiing. I have a Russian size 54. I am fat, unfortunately. I was approached by the size of L. With a jacket is not close. I recommend it to everyone! Thank you Landsend! April 30, 2013
Great jacket! I got this jacket in black petite M, the fit is roomy, which is good. However, the sleeves are a little long for me (I'm 5' and 140 lbs), but there is velcro at the end. Other than the sleeves, this jacket is great...it has a velcro pocket and a zipper pocket on the inside and it's lined with soft fleece for extra warmth. The hood is huge..which is a plus when it rains. Quality is excellent as usual. April 29, 2013
The SQUALL Is Back!! I received my first Squall Jacket in the 1980s. It was a size Youth-Medium, and the color was royal blue. I finally had to actually throw it away in 2003 - I had worn it to the point that it was in shreds...but the zipper worked perfectly!! Since then, I've tried a couple of the "new and improved" Squall Jackets, but they were not the same. One of them had an exposed zipper which broke after 3 wearings. I'm happy to say that this Squall Jacket is a definite winner. There is only one thing I don't like about it and that is the velcro storm flap. I really hate velcro, but on this short jacket, I can live with it because the jacket itself is sooooo WONDERFUL!! The zipper seems to be very strong and durable (time will tell). The sleeves are quite long, but I like longer sleeves. The extra length means that when I bend my arms, my wrists are still covered. The picture doesn't show it, but it is lower in the back than in the front, so I have extra coverage that I hadn't expected - which I love. The hood is roomy without being sloppy and cinches to stay in place. The lining is so soft and warm, I hate taking it off. One thing that may bother some people - the curve on the bottom of the storm flap falls below the hem of the jacket. I don't have a problem with that, but I thought it was important enough to note it. I bought it in the Classic Red color in an XS Petite and it fits perfectly. This Squall won't get the abuse that my first one did - I used it for stacking and carrying wood for over 8 years in the mid-1990s until the toss away in 2003; that's where the shredding occurred. I wear this one when shopping and going to appointments, so...I expect it will last the rest of my life!! I highly recommend THIS Squall Jacket!! March 28, 2013
