Wanted to love, but don't want to wear a cami to keep from showing my skin through the fabric!
This shirt has so much going for it -- it has a MODEST scoop neck, which is no easy thing to find. It has elbow-length sleeves, which I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE. It's stripes are crisp and stylish. BUT, it has two problems:
1. The fabric is thin slub cotton. Unfortunately it is so thin that the white stripe which hits at my midriff clearly shows skin.
2. This particular piece was sloppily hemmed, so that tiny slivers of the should-be-turned-under white fabric show right at the bottom edge of the shirt instead of an unbroken line of navy.
Lands' End, I am getting tired of your slipping standards of quality. I have loved you for so many years, but lately I seem to return nearly as much as I purchase. Surely this is a self-defeating business strategy for you?

Comfortable Shirt
This is a nice shirt. I can dress it up or down; wear it with a cardigan and navy slacks to work, or with jeans or shorts on the week-end. It comes out of the washer and dryer without noticeable shrinkage. Probably my biggest issue with this shirt is the cuffs on the sleeves. They get all unfolded in the dryer (don't tell me to hang the shirt up wet; the wrinkles from the washer would never come out) and I have to take a few minutes each time I take it out of the dryer to straighten them out. Fortunately the designer or the company, or someone, decided to stitch them down pretty firmly so they do go back almost completely. Still, considering the fact that I don't want a shirt I have to iron, this one fills the bill nicely.

Like this top!
I wear a 2X tee, and that's what I ordered in this top. It fits perfect, as usual! I love the stretchy, cool, easy fit of this top. It is slightly sheer. It looks and feels upscale casual. I'd wear it out to eat at a seafood restaurant, to go on a boat ride, or to walk on the beach this summer. I got the washed red, and limonata light yellow. So pretty!

Very lightweight with NO body to the fabric!
I did not like the fit, fabric or anything about this top! It is going back!
