Very flattering! I wish they has more petite sizes!
I am an "apple" so I normally avoid sweater dresses. However, this dress has a rib knit that enhances the bust, and the empire fit gave it enough room in the waist that it wasn't clinging to my belly! I really like this dress! I just wish I had bought this earlier in the season when there were more petite sizes. My size info: I ordered a Petite Small, which fit great! I am 5'1" and weigh around 143. I am a small 34D.

Just right
I ordered this dress in a small, and at 5'4" and 125 lbs. it fit me just right. I wore it through the winter holidays, dressing it up with jewelry or a dress-length jacket in reds. I also wore it with boots and opaque tights for a different look. Overall, it was perfect for what passes for winter in Houston. I loved the light-weight fabric, the neckline, the drape, the color (green), and the short sleeves. The mid-dress ribbing was too high for me to wear a belt, but it was fine without. I liked the length because is still covered me when I sat down. Overall, this was my "dress for the season" this winter. I would have rated it excellent, but the soft fabric also pulled a bit in the front top from jewelry and the coarser fabrics of my jacket. I washed it in the machine in a lingerie bag, then lay it flat to dry. I think I have worn this one out, and I hope LE will keep it in the line for next year and add a few other colors.

Cute dress but too long.
The fit of the dress is fine and I ordered it according to my true (plus) size. On the model this hits just above the knee, which would be perfect. I'm 5'6'' and for me this hits an inch or two below the knee. It definitely throws off the look of this dress for me. I'm afraid I'm going to have to send it back.

Nice cold weather dress!
I had been waiting for this dress to go super-duper on sale and I purchased this very good quality sweater dress at a good price. The fit is snug--I usually wear a petite small in LE, but I purchased this dress in a petite medium and it works just fine!

The cut of this dress is slimming
Really nice quality dress for the sale price. The color I was able to purchase was the light gray. Despite the lighter color, the dress is slimming on me. I am regularly a size 12/14 bottoms and size 10 tops. The medium fit me the best.

Beautiful Warm Dress
I received this dress yesterday and I am wearing it now. The fit is loose like all Lands' End I've purchased. My dress size is usually a 4. This XS (2-4) fits loosely and not clingy, which is a plus for me. I must be taller than the model, since at 5'4'' it hits at least an inch above my knee. The rib line is just under the bust, but looks fine because it doesn't go in at all. This even looks good with a belt at the waist. The merino wool is soft and very warm. I got the dark spruce heather, which is a beautiful color as pictured.
I wear it for work and feel pretty.

higher than expected waist
The "rib" at the waist is much higher than pictured. It hits me right at the bust line and can creep up which makes for an akward fit. The hem is also several inches above the knee. I am ~5'6", 130 lb

Perfect Holiday Dress
Very flattering, beautiful dress. This will be the perfect holiday "little black dress" for me to have in my wardrobe. I wear it with tan boots and black tights and it looks great! I think a belt would look great with it as well. Very versatile dress. I was worried that the dress would be clingy and show everything, but it didn't at all. It hangs perfectly! The wool is lightweight, but that will make it more comfortable to wear. You can't go wrong with this dress! At the phenomenal discounted price I paid, I may get all the colors!

Great dress
This is a great dress. I bought it in green, and it's a nice color. The fit is good, not too slim, and the details are nice, especially the ribbing at the waist. I like the short sleeves.
