CLEVER TRIO OF COLORED STRIPES FOR BEANIE!
IDEAL striped colors -- narrow bright yellow, purple & black with grey in between -- I wear this beanie with my purple down quilted vest and my bright turquoise down jacket, both Lands End bought in December '12 & February 2013. I like the acrylic & wool blend so the hat is NOT too HOT when I drive with the heater on. Also the strip of fleece on the lower inside is soft & practical. Whenever I purchase clothing I look at the inside stitching, and this is perfect, so excellent quality, INDEED! I retired last May, so I am at home often and not out-and-about daily! I was pleased with the discount price and the versatility of colors... rather than a solid color hat. THANKS for a FAB beanie... I LOVE to wear it!

Very Slimming...
I have crazy curly hair and a long face so finding a hat that looks good on me is not easy. I was looking for a hat to wear sledding with my kids that would stay put and not ride up, making me look like a mushroom head by the end...this fit the bill! If a hat could make one look slimming, then this would be it! Loved the blue/green/pink stripe so much that I based the color scheme to purchase a new winter coat (for sledding, of course). Settled on the down fx jacket in Regent and the two look great together. Fleece lining around ears kept me toasty.

cute and bright
this hat was thicker than i thought the colors are bright and cheerful i love that lands end offers such nice winter gear in beautiful colors,it makes a dull day so much brighter and also warm the fleece band inside is nice and cozy all my hats fit big because i have a small head and fine hair so i guess the size would be average.

Comfy, pretty, and warm.
It has become my go to hat when running out the door. All the colors means it matches lots of outfits/jackets. The fleece ear lining is great.

Not for large heads or thick hair.
If you have small head, this hat will fit as it does on the model and would probably be very cozy and stylish. The knit fabric rolls over to the underside before the fleece is attached. If wool blends are itchy for you, this might be bothersome.
Unfortunately, I must have a larger than average skull or thick hair. The hat was too small for me. The hat goes back.
