I tried the pants on when they arrived and didn't want to take them off--ever!
The petite medium is just right for me: roomy enough, but not baggy and the length is perfect. I have them now in black and sand. Love the softness of the fabric. They're the perfect weight for at least three seasons of the year.

These were huge!
I should have read the reviews before I ordered these. Per the measurements I ordered a large, I probably should have ordered small, that's how big they were! I love Lands End stuff but I should have known better and not bought pants. I had to return these too.

Good, everyday pant
I have ordered Sport Knit pants on and off for years now. The fabric seems thinner than it used to be, but actually I prefer it because I can now wear them in warmer weather. These are nice roomy pants with good, deep pockets that can hold car keys and any of the other odds and ends I can't do without. Just remember that these pants are not about making any kind of fashion statement. They will bag after being worn all day. That's the trade-off for their exceptional comfort.

Pants are way outsized, not like those I've purchased in the past
I purchased three pair of the sport knit pants recently, in Tall length, small size. I've purchased these before and find they fit very well. Because the pants shrink in length, I always get a tall size. This time, the pants are way too big. Big in the waist, big in the hips, and really big in the thighs. I thought perhaps if I washed them, they would shrink enough to make a difference, but all three pair are the same, just way too big for being a small size. Since all three fit exactly the same, I know that the size is an specified by the manufacturer and one pair wasn't just a mistaken sizing. I have always loved these pants, and have probably purchased twenty or more pairs over the years. I wish I could send them back, but I've washed them, so I'm stuck with three pair of pants that are good for nothing but cleaning house in. I hope Lands End fixes this problem.

I bought 3 pair of the Women's Fit 3 Sport Knit Pant yesterday at the store in Leominster, MA
I tried them on this morning and I am so disappointed! I have worn these knit pants for several years and have loved them. That's why I purchased three more pairs. This year's Fit 3 Sport Knit Pant in the size Large that I have worn for years are now too long, the pockets bulge out at the sides, and the fabric was heavy and there was too much fabric in the legs. They looked AWFUL! I had read the reviews before purchasing them and thought 'I'm sure they will be fine for me'. Well, they aren't. I will no longer buy these Sport Knit pants from Land's End. I am REALLY DISAPPOINTED AND FRUSTRATED!!!

The pants are soft & lightweight
The fit is great. I love the softness of the fabric. I haven't had white pants in years these are perfect. They are so comfortable I wear they everywhere.

shrank
I had these pants in years past and loved them, even though they bagged at the knees.
That problem has been solved. New pair fits fine.
Unfortunately, despite washing in cold water and air drying, they are now almost 3" shorter than before.
I know the measurement because I had ordered a second pair in the same size and they just arrived today.
Will be returning them. Sad.

LOVE BUT....
I love these pants- have worn them for many years and have not had any problems - BUT this last batch-- they originally fit really well, I like the material BUT after 1 wash, the pants length has shrunk so much they are too short. I am 5'4" and I bought the regular length but NOW THEY ARE TOO Short. I like my pants at the top of my shoe and these are now at my ankle- terrible!!!!!!! Lands End you need to fix this issue because I really do love these but for this price, they should not shrink short.
