What happened to size 2P?
I have three pairs of these pants. The 4P were best in the hip but were gaping big in the waist so I ended up with 2P even though they are snugger in the hip. Like the no elastic waist, straight leg, unhemmed option, and the dressier lighter weight fabric for warmer weather. I ordered them in white also, but sent them back because they were not opaque.
Wanted more of these, but where are the size 2P?
Wish the 7-Day line came in all cotton fabric and in an opaque white and other summery colors like those offered in ankle pants and capris. Also would like to see the skort again, with no elastic or side-elastic only rather than back-elastic.
Ditto the other comments about the funny front pockets and the too-long front tab closure.

You can trust the fit
I am very happy with trousers, the fit is just perfect (I am petit, so sometimes is struggle)

Easy care implies no ironing.
We sent them back -- These pants need ironing after wash and machine drying.

Great value in these trousers
I bought 2 pair and both are terrific. I only wish that LE had more color options available with a high waist. I would get more of theses in fun colors in a minute! Very comfortable fit. Very practical and attractive.

Legs
The legs were too small and tight especially below the calf. Skin tight clothing does not look good on big women. I remember when I could order pants from you and they fit perfect, but these new styles are too form fitting and not at all appropriate for women such as I.

Don't
I'm a plus size. When I tried these on, I kept saying
"why would ANY plus-size woman wear these pants?"
The waistband and closure (front zip) are goofy and
exceedingly unflattering. The pockets are really nonexistent, as they are
totally worthless for holding anything larger than
a quarter.

Hate the front pockets
I was so pleased to see these pants without the elastic back, but didn't pay enough attention to the pockets. The front pockets are not only useless, but if you do put anything into them, an unsightly bulge is created. Can't imagine why you haven't kept the properly tailored side pockets.

pants that fit and pockets that don't gape.
I absolutely love these pants. i have several pair and just ordered more. I have a high hip curve and any pants with side pockets just gape open. The first few pairs I ordered are a size larger than my newer ones. I had originally ordered them up a size because I didn't know if the loss of the pocket space would make my usual size too tight. I can wear the larger ones with a belt, but the fit of my usual size is absolutely delightful!
The fabric is a good quality twill and the details and finishing are the usual Lands End fine quality.
The straight trouser legs are very flattering too.
I hope they carry these forever

quality control problems
I ordered three pairs of these pants and had to return two pairs because one pair had obviously been washed and dried (in a dryer) and was faded and wrinkled, and the other was literally covered with animal/pet hair, inside the pant legs. I suspect that whoever they are outsourcing the hemming of these pants has unsanitary (dirty) work areas. Why would the insides of otherwise new-looking pants be covered in pet hair? And why are "brand new" pants faded and wrinkled straight out of the bag? The pants themselves fit fine. I think they would fit a curvy but flat-bellied woman the best, because of where the waist rests, right on the belly button. The hassle of returning the pants and requesting replacements makes me less inclined to order from LE again, unfortunately...

Lands End is taking away my jeans
So after 10+ years I can't get the jeans I want, in the right fit and decent material, from Lands End. They have done away with most of their "Fit 3" (read: "traditional") jeans, in favor of cheap, part polyester materials and elastic waists that are insulting to some of us women who just want the old, high-quality denim jeans which fit us so well. Is 100% cotton so expensive?
Evidently I'll have to shop elsewhere.
