Just little small for a plus size but love it!!!
Love this pants!!! I order green plus size. The color is beautiful, the material is good and fits well. I normally used 18w but i order 20w fit 2 and fits nice. There are stretch but fit in the waist.

chino bermuda shorts
Well, Lands End has come thru again for me! Being a size 2 petite, 5 ft tall, and 100 lbs, it's always been hard for me to find clothes for my age. I've ordered before from Lands End and have been completely happy with their clothes! These Bermuda shorts look good on me!! And fit so good. I'm so happy because they actually DO fit. I won't have to send them back! Now THAT is great! These shorts are made well, fit great, True to size!

Good length for tall ladies
I usually try to buy shorts and pants only in talls (I'm 5'11" with all my height in my legs) but I've lost some weight recently and urgently needed a pair of shorts that fit, so I went with these in the regular sizing. I was pleasantly surprised that they're nice and long -- not to the knee, but within a couple inches. I found them to be true to size, and bought the green, which is lovely. They're a good slimness in the legs as well, not squeezing, but not belling out either.

True to size
Shorts fit well and just the right length. I ordered a stone and a brown, thinking I would return one of them. I kept both, I liked both colors. I took off one star for how they came out of the dryer, a little more wrinkled than I would have liked.

beautiful, comfortable - perfect!
These shorts are a rich jewel tone green, the slight stretch in the fabric is very comfortable, they fit perfectly, and I expect to wear them regularly. The bermuda length is flattering . I may order more colors!!

A perfect mate for the Henley shirt

These shorts do not have a slim leg - too bad!
The fabric, the colors, the seat and waist,and the length are all perfect. But the leg width is not slim; it is definitely on the wide side of a regular leg width. I have an average to slim thigh, but even so, these would have been slim only on someone with heavy set legs. And so regretfully, I returned all three pairs ordered.

Brutally honest sizing
Remember, back in the good old days of the past few years, when Land's End flattered us with "vanity-sized" garments? You know, so that a woman who wears, say, a size 10, would have to downsize to a dainty size 8 or even 6? Well, that's apparently not happening anymore. Hello, double-digits! I haven't really missed you, but you're what fits again.
I know what you're thinking - that the clothing sizes have remained consistent and I've just gotten fatter? Yeah, I thought that too, but then I pulled out my dainty single-digit shorts from yesteryear, and they still fit comfortably over my fat butt. So it's not me - it's the sizing.
Since I had ordered my "vanity" size and was horrified at the tight fit, I will likely give a (cough, cough) larger size a try, since these shorts seem to be pretty high quality.
