Description

Basically great.

  • Soft, all-cotton twill chino pants for women
  • Flattering straight-leg style
  • Offset side pockets, welt back pockets
  • Fit 2: Sits slightly below the waist
  • Straight leg has an easy fit through the thigh
  • We'll hem them for free
  • Get a 360° view

Sometimes, classic is all you want. Simple, all-cotton women's chinos in twill (not too light or too heavy), microsanded for softness. A smooth-fitting waistband that doesn't gap in back. Enough hip room so the pockets don't pull. An easy, straight leg. If that's your chino, you've hit the jackpot here. Enjoy! Machine wash. Imported.

Women's Fit 2 Straight Leg Chino Pants 3.5 5 320 320
the best fitting 100% cotton chino you've offered in years. Very happy to see that 100 percent cotton chino pants were back! 1. The fit is much better all around than the previous version. They are true to size -- the rise is long enough and the pockets don't "pooch out" -- thanks for improving the cut and fit. 2. It would be nice if they were offered in the color stone. 3. The fabric is smooth and wears well. Importantly, as anyone with sensitive skin will tell you, its wonderful to be able to purchase 100 percent cotton garments that are not treated with chemicals. These pants are great. it would be nice to see Lands End carry more clothing in 100 percent (untreated) cotton, including sweater sets, blouses and jeans. July 8, 2012
Great pants for work or play These pants fit great, they do not loose their shape after wearing or washing. Definetely a great choice and with Land's End the guarantee seals the deal. I would recommend these pants to anyone! June 24, 2012
Very disappointed in these pants The fit was fair good on these, a little big at the waist. The problem I had which caused me to return these was that after laundering they were very wrinkled; wrinkles difficult to iron out!! I did not want to keep these and have this problem after each laundering. June 3, 2013
Disappointed I tried to find something positive about these. I was hesitant about keeping them after trying them on but decided to since I can't find pants that fit. I took them with on a trip and ug I'm sorry I kept them. The waistband gaps a bit in the back, they sit too low for my taste, and they need a lot of ironing. The legs are baggy as some commented - I double checked to make sure I didn't buy bootcut and they aren't - they are straight legs. I find the fabric rather cheap for the price paid. If I could send them back I would but unfortunately I washed them. I don't recommend these. May 31, 2013
Too baggy in legs Product # 40598 -I was so disappointed, these are so baggy in the legs, the description stated straight leg. I was expecting slightly more than the tapered chino product # 407937- just too baggy. I wish the tapered chino was available in black, would have gone with that product. Please considered tweeting 40598 tapering more. I had noticed several customers suggested the front pockets should run horizontally rather than on the side, it is much more flattering on plus side women. I did appreciate the free hemming and the material is soft, almost 100 cotton, not irritating to the skin. I will keep these because of the hassle of returning them. Pls. consider my suggestions during your brainstorming for the next production line. Thank you. May 29, 2013
Great ALTERNATIVE to my favorite styling - Stretch Chino Trousers I love these chinos as an alternative to the Stretch Chino Trousers 405988-A66. Although these have straighter leg than Chino Trousers, they still look chic. I got these in white and with beige underwear they will be fine, it's a nice weight trouser! I also sized up in these to allow for shrinkage and even if a bit large, the cut of the pant allows for a nice flow from your curves. I plan to buy another pair of these in black, because black is currently not offered in teh Chino Trouser style I prefer. However, I am endorsing both items:) May 19, 2013
Excellent pants! These pants are a good fit and true to size. The rise is good and makes for a flattering fit. They are easy to dress up with a sweater for the office and nice for the weekend with a t-shirt and flats. I highly suggest getting them. April 27, 2013
Decent pants but no give to them at all I thought these were the stretch chinos that I had ordered in the past. They are okay but I don't find them very comfortable despite fitting properly. I am a size 18 and prefer the stretch chinos. April 27, 2013
Nice fit but inconsistent I ordered two pairs of these pants and the navy fit wonderful. The khaki, however was not the greatest fit. The waist gapped and the hips fit more snug then the navy. Disappointing, but if you happen to get a pair that fit well, you'll love them! April 22, 2013
Won't be my go-to khakis After a very good experience with the slim-leg Fit 2 chinos I ordered these expecting them to be my go-to straight leg chinos. Ugh! Baggy fit not at all like the other Fit 2's I've ordered and VERY stiff fabric. I'm not sure a million washings would make these soft and comfy. Furthermore, they wrinkle terribly. Returning!
