Very disappointing
I tried these in both a 10 and a 12, and both made me look very bottom heavy. The shorts are rather "poofy" on a curvy body like mine, and the extra fabric and tabs on the bottom of each leg have the unfortunate effect of making things look even bigger. On the photo the shorts look fabulous and quite fitted, but on my body, they are a definitely no-go and worth the cost of return shipping from Canada!

Good looking shorts
I liked these shorts a lot and wore them on some casual occasions. But when I needed to wash them I discovered that it would be a lot of work to get them back to anything like their original appearance. I probably will return them.

Awesome but a bit large and wrinkly
Really cute shorts that can go with absolutely anything. But i had to return for a smaller size. Even the 4 is big and i am 135lbs with big distance runner thighs. You will have to iron them - all the tricks post- dryer won't be sufficient with this type of fabric. But so cute it's worth breaking out the iron.

The fit is a little big, but they are so comfortable! I'm in between sizes so that is probably the problem. Love all your products!!!!

Love these shorts!
I love the look and material of these shorts, however i found them to be a bit too long so i simply rolled them up and stitched them on two sides so it would stay. They also run a little large, I purchased a size 8, which is what i normally wear but it was a little too roomy, so i ordered another 2 pairs in size 6 and they fit perfectly. Overall, even though i had to fix the length, I think they look great!

comfy, flattering
I thought that I would only like these shorts unrolled to get the extra length, to my surprise I like them both ways, rolled and unrolled. Depending on the length and style of my top, I can change them up. these are well made and the linen is nice quality; soft not stiff. Washes and dries well. For my body, the waist is a little big but that is always how things fit me because I am bottom heavy. The legs of the shorts are perfect for me, cover up my thick thighs without being to "bell" shaped. Yes, order them! I got both the beige and white... and I never wear white!

Folded up and buttoned legs didn't work for me.
Nice fabric, nice fit,but the fussy folded up fabric and buttoned tabs to hold up the folded fabric just didn't work for me. When they arrived the back of one of the legs was hanging down, so I ironed it, but then decided that they would probably drop again if I wore them, so I returned them.

Cute design but fabric is a bit thin
Liked the fit and style of the shorts. I think the buttons on the outer thigh added to my hip width though. They could be cute on a person with narrow hips. Almost kept them but I was also not sure they would wash up well with the fabric being thin.

Fits SMALL for curvy gals
After reading all of the "fits big" reviews, I just have to comment for us curvy gals - this is a straight legged short with a very snug fit. I am usually a 10 in bottoms and these were so snug I thought LEC at first sent the wrong size.
That said, they're well made, fabric is nice, and I would recommend them for straight legged ladies.

Very soft and comfortable but fits too big
These shorts are very soft and comfortable but the cut is too wide in the legs and the waist is too large and keeps sliding down when I wear them. I am typically a size 8 - 10 and initially ordered a 10. I exchanged them for a size 8 and they are still too large. At this point in the summer, I do now want to wait another 2 weeks to exchange them again so I will just wear them around the house and tie the attached belt tight.
