My favorite chinos
I just stopped by to landsend.com to find my favorite pair of pants in black (I have the khaki and navy), but it looks like they are almost sold out and no longer carry most sizes. I was really hoping to get these in black! Land's End, please bring back this style and cut and in other colors, too! Perfect for curves and someone who really likes wide leg pants.

Wide leg
When they say wide leg, they mean wide leg. I thought this was worth mentioning since the other reviews do not. yes, they are comfortable, well-cut, nice fit, and a bargain when on sale. But the leg is wider than it looks in the picture (much wider) and it doesn't look as good as I think it does in the picture with little ballet flats. It needs more substantial shoes or heels.

Nice pants but not for tall women
Very nice pants and the quality it great. Unfortunately for me at 5'8 (long legs) the regular size is way too short. They come to my ankles when normally I don't have a problem with regular length size pants. So if you are taller you need to order a longer special order pants.

Love these pants!
These are a perfect fit for my somewhat middle aged figure and sooo comfortable. I am going to order more.

Not bad for such a good price!
I got these pants as part of my first ever Land's End order. As an international customer, I read and re-read reviews to avoid having to return anything. I usually struggle with pants, as my waist measurement is size 4, but my thighs are size 6-8 (I'm an athletic pear!). I usually have to go for wide-leg styles to accomodate my legs, and I read that these pants run large with very wide legs, so I ordered a 2P. I was relieved when I got them and they actually FIT!! They are a tiny bit firm in the legs, but as with most pants, they loosen up with wear. Being rigid (rather than stretch), this could be an issue for some. I loved that they're hemmed to order, and the fabric is soft and substantial.
The biggest issue I had with these the first time I wore them was the side pockets gaped pretty badly. This probably has to do with how they fit my particular body shape. I solved this issue by stitching the pockets shut by hand.
Can't complain for the bargain price I paid!!

Fabulous Fit!
I ordered a black pair of these chinos, and they arrived today. I normally wear a 4 or 6, and ordered the 4, hoping that they would fit. I tried them on, and they fit so well, that I just ordered the three other colors! Fabulous fit! I am thrilled! Nice material, too. It has substance, but is also very soft.

Nice Quality Casual Pants
I bought a size 10 and had it hemmed at 34", navy color. I typically wear between an 8 and 10 (5'11, 155 lbs) and found that these pants run a little big in the waist. I liked the lower rise and roomier legs which are flattering for taller woman like myself. These pants wash uplike a dream. The fabric is very soft and irons easily. I"m considering buying these pants in a second color.

Found my new fave!
Wow, I am pleasantly surprised! It has been quite some time since I tried Land's End - and they never quite "fit me" before, however, in looking for a pair of khakis to wear to work I tried these at the local mall and then ordered two more pair! They are made very well with quality material that feels as if it could last for years (hopefully I won't be the same size for years though!) ...the length is good, the wide- leg is very flattering (ladies - if you are used to wearing straight-leg pants these will definitely be a change for you). I've put on a few pounds in the last 2 years ( 5' 6", 146 lbs) and it was nice to be back between a 2 and 4 at Land's End. The pants are made of a nice weight cotton material and did not shrink after washing. The fit 1 is also very much more flattering than the other fits as this reduces the "baby belly" (for all you mothers out there who just can't seem to get that area toned again!) bump effect that the higher-waisted pants produce - plus I don't really have a defined waist, as when thinner I am more "athletic looking" straight up and down with bigger thighs (and I say that because it's just my body type-not because I am athletic!). Hope they continue to make these for a long time as they definitely are my new fave and must have! These are so comfortable I am certain they will replace my jeans.

The fit is good but the flare to large.
I ordered these pants in black and like the fit and look from the knee up. The flare at the hem line is huge! The flared bottom about covers my entire foot at the hem line. I am going to have them altered to reduce the flare, so I don't feel so much like I am wearing clown pants. I will not return them, as their price was so low, it would not be worth the cost to return.

Super-Wide Leg Pants
These are a lot wider in the leg then pictured online. Plus they run soooooo big. I ordered them online and then came across them at my local Sears store(so i tried them on). I had to call customer service and change my size from an 8 to 4 (going down two sizes, that shouldn't be). My verdict is still out on the width of the leg, not sure it's practical for work (work is the reason I purchased them). These may have to go back! I still love LandsEnd and have done a lot of shopping with them this season. You can't beat some of the deals they offer, sometime sizing can be an issue!
