Try the skinnies!
These fit wonderfully, and I am a HUGE fan of the fact that I can get them at EXACTLY the inseam length I need. This never happens, as I am 4' 11". I have purchased three pairs of Lands End jeans in the last 45 days, these, the slim-leg, and the boot cut, and they are ALL divine. Not just because they're (hurray!!) the right length, but the petites from LA are dead-on in the rise and just in the nice, minimal look. Ladies, I am a petite size 12, not skinny, with a booty, and these fit wonderful. Great dark wash color too.

Good fit, nice style.
I like these jeans. They are a good fit and I like the straight leg. The fabric is a good stretch. I am surprised I have been able to purchase jeans online so successfully.

Hit and miss
Everything about these jeans is great...except the HUGE waist. I am tall-5'9", proportional (no long or short waist) and a size 12. Did not need to order a tall, the length is perfect, with just the right amount of hem "pooling" at the ankle to give the appropriate on-trend look. Not too tight in the legs, hugs just right without looking obscene. Stretch is good and regains shape. But the darned waist gaps like there is no tomorrow! For a good fit for me it should have been 2-3 inches smaller in the waist. Yes, I have a smallish waist, but I also have a healthy backside and hips, and these ride well below the actual waist, hits more at the high hip area, so I thought for sure they would fit correctly. Ergo, unless I want to have them taken in, I have to wear longer tops and/or cannot wear any tops tucked in. Now, having said that, I am still going to buy another pair, because these are the best ones I've found anywhere.

Great fit and great colour wash.
Very flattering on a petite, curvy figure, despite not being a petite cut jean. They will need hemming, but that's an easy job on my machine. Comfy and just the right rise.

Good Fit, Some Problems with the Material
I like the fit of these jeans and think they look flattering overall. I do have some problems with the material. Perhaps it's just too much Lycra for me. I find the fabric is not very breathable, much too hot to wear in the summer, and hard to wash clean without any lingering dirty-laundry scent. I much prefer cotton jeans with just a little spandex for stretch. I like the dark color but the ink does come off on your hands even after several washings.

Worked well for me!
I've been looking for tapered jeans that work with boots. Not an easy job, considering that I am tall and have a booty and ample calves. I wasn't sure these were going to work because the calf is fairly snug, however in knee-high slouch boots they look great! I love the dark denim (be sure to wash before 1st wearing); with the 52% cotton/48% LYCRAŽ elasterell P fabric construction, you can get two wearings between washings. I expect them to stay true to size and color with cold water wash + short dryer cycle + hang dry to finish. They might have been a little more 'nipped' in the waist, but a belt fixes that. So happy I bought two pairs in navy; I wish they came in black!

Love it!
I am 5'5" and weigh 120lbs. I bought these in a size 6 and the fit is perfect on these not too skinny jeans. Perfect denim color, with the rise just right below the navel. Very modern and flattering for women over 40.

Love these jeans!
This is a beautiful dark stretchy denim jean. It has washed and dried beautifully. No shrinkage in length, no color bleeding, and so far no fading. I am tall and slim, but I am also 50. I do not want to look like I'm wearing my daughter's jeans, and with these jeans I can. Just a caveat-I first ordered a size 8-too big, then I ordered a size 6-too small, then there was a sale on the jeans so I ordered another 6 and these fit perfectly.

too small and low
Although Land's end size 6 in chinos and trousers fit me perfectly, these jeans were small and too low for my taste. quality was good but the fit was bad. I returned these.

Looks hot but not worth the discomfort!
After reading previous reviews exalting the comfort of these jeans, I was very much looking forward to wearing them. It is so hard to find skinny jeans that give you that sleek look without feeling confining. Well, these are not those jeans. They look terrific on - my husband loves them - but I cannot wait to take them off. I'm a slim but curvy size four. They are true to size but I don't sense any give at all in the fabric. I've tried wearing them twice now; if I hadn't, I would be sending them back.
