Women's Fit 1 Ponté Demi-Boot Pants
I really like these pants and I'm ordering a second pair.
These fit nicely and are super-comfortable. I wear them to work and I've decided I need another pair. I'm 5'3 and these (the petite) are a bit long for me. I wear them with heels to make it work, but otherwise they are perfect.

Solving the shrinking problem
Love these pants, but they require a little TLC if you want to maintain the fit. After washing, stretch the waistband and pant legs, and then hang the pants over a towel rod with a towel underneath. They dry very nicely and retain their softness.

Never stop making these!
I totally love these pants! Got 2 pairs (black and grey) and love them both! I did have to hem them about 2 inches (I am 5'6' tall) and top-stitch all pockets so they don't stick out. Fabric is heavy and holds shape perfectly. One of the rare pants that actually fit me: I ordered size 14, which fits nicely on my 44-inch hips (I have 36-inch waist and 27 inch thigh at its fattest point). I will never wear them as shown on the model though; it looks better with a mid-hip pullover.

Beware fit after washing!
I was looking for an alternative to the other dress pants at Lands' End, considering they don't make their commuter pant anymore. (Those were great btw, and they need to reinstate them!) I bought 2 pairs of pants, about a week apart from each other. I needed a dress pant that was black, had belt loops, and would suffice as "uniform" pants (meaning not-fancy). I thought this would be a comfortable, classed-up, uniform pant. I ordered size 10 since my commuter pants were big at a size 10 and I had read that the ponte pants shrink. Long story short, let's just say my mostly-men co-workers were thrilled with my new yoga-pant-"I work OUT" (to the song)-pants. When I tried them on, unwashed, they were slightly loose with the waist being more straight up and down than me. Near-perfect, slightly-large size. I washed and dried them exactly as the label said. They both ended up form-fitting, all the way to the knee. (Read: hoochy mama not-acceptable uniform sort of way and brings lots of stares from the opposite gender). They shrunk about a size and a half. (Size 10 shrunk to tight on 38.5" hips; and relatively looser on a 31" waist. Very form-fitting on my athletic thighs. One pair shrunk to my typical 32.5" inseam and the other held about 33.5".) I've decided I'm keeping the longer pair for my husband's benefit and also for the times when I don't mind guys looking at my attributes (because I DO work out). Sadly, I'm definitely looking for another 2 pairs of uniform pants. My regret is that I won't find them on LE.
They are cute, cute pants but in order to get the size right, you'd have to try several pairs and wash them, which means returning lots of pants. The fabric is wonderful but for all the shrinkage. They should have washed the fabric first, then cut, and assembled. They are super-comfortable...and not at all acceptable for a uniform. It's really too bad. Lands' End can do better than this.

I am in love with these pants.!
They are so comfortable and look great! I here to buy some more before they're gone. The only thing I wish they had was their wonderful free hemming. But I like these pants so much. At this price, I don't mind paying to have them hemmed.

Absolutely love this pant and I selected it because of the reviews. Wasn't disappointed. I do find the boot legs too much (fabric) and I will take these into the tailor to get modified but since the fit and fabric are so great, I'm not disappointed about it. These are after all boot cut, I just happen to like a slimmer leg.

Really, Really Long
The description says that these are hemmed long, and they mean it! At 5'8", most pants are a bit short while talls are too tall on me but these are at least 2" too long in the regular. The pants are very comfortable and fit nicely so I will have them hemmed but be warned ....if you are less than 5'9", go with the petite.

Comfy and chic
I really hate uncomfortable clothes, and I find most pants to fit in this category. Not these! These pants are soft, and they have the right amount of stretch - they move with you, but they aren't clingy or tight looking. I wish that Land's End offered to hem these. I'm 5'6 and I have and extra 4 inches of fabric at the bottom - no heel is going to solve that! I wonder if the cut of the leg will still work after hemming, but I'm going to give it a try.

LOVE these pants!
When i first tried them on they fit close to to my hips and butt and I wasn't sure I liked that but that is how they are supposed to fit and I love them!!! When I wear these I feel like I have sweatpants on but I'm actually wearing dressy style pants. I am currently trying to lose weight and I see these are reduced, I sure hope I can get them in a smaller size if I do lose the 15 pounds.

Love how comfortable, but dressy these pants are. I just ordered a second pair. I like to dress comfortable, but need to look professional. Those two things are usually hard to match up, but it works great with these. They were too long for me, even with medium heels, so I had to turn up the hem, but that's better than being too short. I'm only 5'0, so most people won't have that problem. I found they ran a tad on the big side, but it didn't hurt my feelings fitting into the smaller size.
