funny shaped
It doesn't fit properly. For one thing, the neck tends to fall back over my shoulders, causing the V-neck to ride up. But even worse, the bottom of the sweater is really loose; there is no elasticity in it so it just hangs down, loose over my jeans, making me look a lot fatter than I am (and I'm a relatively thin person), as if I had a big belly on me (which I don't). Disappointing because I've been buying Land's End turtlenecks for years and I love them but this is the first time I've bought this kind of sweater and I'm afraid it will be the last!

too wide in body for small size woman
The body of the sweater is too wide for a small woman. Maybe the wrong style for a woman of 50+ years. (It was bought as a gift.)

beautiful sweater!
This is a great sweater. The pattern is unusual and the colors are strong. You definitely need a crewneck or turtleneck to go under it (both oatmeal and navy look good). A warning: this is a boxy sweater. The size guidelines for "Canvas" say I should order a medium instead of my usual small, but I ordered a small and it fits perfectly.

GIGANTIC!!
This sweater doesn't have just a "swingy, boxy" fit... it is ENORMOUS!! That doesn't show in the picture at all, but I'll bet they've got a wide swath of material pinned up in back to make it look like it fits. Because the pattern and the colors are unique and pretty, I was considering exchanging it for a smaller size, but I'm afraid that might be too small in the bust. The body of the sweater is where this one is so big. Otherwise, the sweater is super soft, not itchy or scratchy at all, and the colors are unusual. But the safron (or whatever you call the yellowish-tan color) is much more predominant-appearing in person and actually makes it less attractive than the one in the picture, IMO. So if you're going to order it, consider sizing down. I don't actually know if that will work, but it might.

Colors were great
Boxy would be an understatement. I usually wear 12-14 in tops, this was not flattering at all and the value for the price paid wasn't worth it. I returned it.

Fun sweater for weekend
Wide fit great for layering. Fun, comfortable, not itchy.
