How can something so light be so warm? Here's the download. The higher the fill power, the greater the insulation. Also, choosing a better grade of down allows you to use less of it. Even our lightest down jacket is packed with 600 fill power, so it weighs very little without sacrificing any of the warming power. Plus the nylon shell's water-resistant finish helps keep rain, snow and other wet stuff from getting in. With all its "weather proofing" (not to mention its casual styling), this jacket is a choice pick for everything you need to do outdoors — sledding, walking the dog, dashing from car to door. For your added protection, there's a storm flap and hidden fleece storm cuffs. And the pockets even have a special compartment to hold a handwarmer packet. Machine wash. Imported.

I love it! I bought this jacket because our Winters here in Euroa are pretty cold for Australian standards and given I'm already a cold fish I needed something I could rely on! It's absolutely fantastic. The washed berry colour is gorgeous, it goes with red as well as muted pinks - very versatile. The only suggestion I would have for future re-makes of this jacket is; add an extra 2.5cms (1 inch) to the length. So it covers jumpers a little better. April 24, 2013
Best Jacket Ever I love this jacket! It's warm, the fit is good, its lightweight and it never wrinkles when i sit on it at the movies. I washed it and its still the same jacket! love it. I am buying another one because when this place has a good product, they always seem to redesign it! I used to love the sport knit pants. They are not the same. Anyway, buy this if you really need it or not! February 6, 2013
Great Jacket This is a great jacket. I bought it for my teenage daughter and she loves it. The fit, color, and quality is excellent. Another great purchase from Lands End. May 30, 2012
After reading the reviews I decided to purchase this jacket. OMG I love it. I was surprised at the quick turnaround of delivery to Australia ! Excellent service. The jacket exceeded my expectations. I ordered a petite medium being a size between 10 & 12. I was worried at the fit. But it was perfect. Tested it in Melbourne gale & recent storm. I was cosy warm. The sleeves are a tad long for me, but its manageable. I was a little disappointed with the colour - I was expecting a mustard yellow but in fact its quite a fresh yellow. I should have ordered the pink. Next time. May 25, 2012
LOVE THIS COAT!! I have searched high and low for a down coat that didnt make me feel like a giant snowman...and this coat was it! I love it so much I'm going to order it in another color. It is very warm, but not too poofy. I was surprised how lightweight it feels, but I can walk my dogs in the blowing wind and snow and stay toasty. I'm a very happy Lands End shopper. March 3, 2012
What happened to Landsend sizing???? I would have given 5 stars - but you ruined the experience by your off-sizing of this cute jacket!!! I loved this Jacket. Ordered it in my usual PM. So small I could barely zip it up and the waist was more like an empire waist! So I re-ordered in a regular medium. It was tight - again I could zip it, but it was clearly too tight to wear comfortably or with a sweater underneath. Now - I tried to re-order in a PL (never wear a PL) and they are all gone except in mineral yellow! I'm so disappointed. I must spend at least $150 a month on Landsend clothing and this jacket is so cute, so warm, yet the sizing was off by at least one size! So - now I'm going "up" to the diamond down jacket (at least it's in rich red, which is what I wanted) and hope it fits in a PL. I feel really, really let down by Landsend on this one - especially since I spend so much $ with them. This jacket is darling, extremely warm (rating factor seems to be true), and now I can't have it unless I want mineral yellow which would match nothing I own. Thanks a lot, Landsend. I waited for this jacket until after Christmas and order, re-order and now have to buy another coat because they are all gone. Raspberries to you! January 29, 2012
Love the colour, love the fit and love the comfort!!! I am a 16/18--5'2" . I usually wear a 1x in LE jackets. I bought an imperial purple in a 2x because I wanted to be able to fit an extra sweater underneath. The fit is perfect--plenty of room in the sleeves and body (I'm apple shape and I need that tummy space!). I am able to cinch in the waist to give me that hourglass figure. I was worried the sleeves would be too long--it did turn out to be an inch too long which I was able to tuck into the cuff and it looked perfectly fine. Very warm, wore it to watch the fireworks and I felt I had my duvet wrapped around me! Weather that night was 14 degrees (-10 celsius) with a mild windchill and I did not feel a thing! At this price, its a steal of a deal!!! January 6, 2012
Wish I didnt shed like daffy tho... I love the coat. I'm a 14 on top & got the Large. Fits great. it was about 35degrees this morning & I was comfortable; perfect w/the skinny jeans & knee hi boots. I got it in the clover & it is MUCH PRETTIER in person than the site. Occasionally a feather pops out here & there.. only downfall in my opinion Hopefully this doesn't cause an issue further down the line. December 9, 2011
