way — you see it, but it isn’t in your face. Which means the shape of this dress gets equal play. The raised waistline is so flattering and pleats add lovely ease to the skirt. Invisible side zipper. 88% cotton/12% linen. Machine wash. Imported.

Pretty Light Weight Dress
This dress is very light weight fabric including the lining. It is perfect for hot summer Sacramento CA weather. The workmanship is very nice and I love the darts at the waistline. I use a belt that picks up the color of the embroidered bodice. This dress is very comfortable and neat looking on. The delicate blue pinstripe is very soft not harsh.

Strange fit, but very cute!
I'm usually a size 14, but this was way too big! The waist was just a little bit big, and I had lots of extra fabric in the armpit area. I'd say this dress would be great for big-busted and/or curvy ladies. The fabric has a tiny stripe and I would say it's blue instead of violet. The embroidery is very pretty and makes it look Indian. The fit is a bit frumpy with the waist seam and bell-shaped skirt. I'm 5'11" and the skirt came to about 3 or 4 inches above the tops of my knees. I like that this has pockets! If I see a size 12 in stock I'll snatch it up, otherwise I'll alter my size 14!

Great Summer Dress
I love this dress. It reminds me of an old Lilly Pulitzer dress I used to have. It is fully lined and with the fuller skirt, the pockets are actually functional. I am pear shaped and the cut is still very flattering on me. I wish it came in another color!
The color name of violet storm is misleading. There is not violet, purple hue at all. It is a true blue and white stripe.
The fit of this dress is just right for me. I am short waisted, and ordered this dress in a 14P. It may not fit well on someone with a very small bust though.
