great sweater!
I was so happy to find a substantial, well fitting sweater in cotton! This is my first drifter, and I have since ordered 2 more! I'm a cotton gal; wool and wool blends are unbearable even with a tee underneath. Thanks Lands End!!!

heavy
I have the same sweater with the crew neck and I love it, so, naturally, I ordered the v-neck in another color. I found the v-neck to be very heavy and unwieldy to move in. Additionally, the v is very small. I'm very well endowed so I generally look for something that's not going to show any cleavage, but this was just uncomfortably tight on the neck.

I have never gotten anything fromLands End that wasn't top quality and great value. Some of my shirts are 10 years old!
Great sweater!

Very Nice Sweater
This is a very nice sweater. It fit true to size, better than I expected. I love the cotton and it came out of the dryer just fine. I plan on getting more colors. Hope they come out with spring colors too!

I love this color
I have several of the drifters and they are my go to winter sweaters. The yellow is a great color, it it fits perfectly.

I have loved this sweater for DECADES---
And I started buying from you when you made sailing stuff! (back in olden times) This sweater was a classic--a not too deep V neck, did not show cleavage, was long enough to drape at the waist, and other than yellow, orange or brown, I bought every color you sold for spring and summer, I could wear it with nothing under it, and in winter, it was fab with your turtleneck cotton shirts under it. Now, the V neck is too high, the armholes fit funny, and the shoulders are too tight. If you must continue ths sweater as it is, at least offer the OLD ones, as well. 15 years of owning the old ones, and not one fell apart. I WANT MY V NECK SWEATERS BACK!

Love, love love this sweater
Thanks Land End for making a nice quality sweater with a shallow v-neck. It is so hard to find a woman's sweater without a deep v-neck. I am quite petite, 5' 1'' & 108 lbs. I ordered a small & it fits perfect. Sometimes deep v-necks just overwhelm me. I've only worn it once, but have received several compliments on it. My friend and bothof my daughters (who are teenagers) now want a drifter sweater because they love how the shallow v-neck looks. I think I will be ordering at least one more in a different color. Thanks again for this much needed shallow v-neck sweater.

Why did you change the V-neck depth?
I've purchased several of these sweaters over the years. But now? Clearly the specifications for making a previously terrific sweater have changed. A "small" is now an "extra small" (1) across the back (shoulder), (2) is now cut way too tight under the arm, (3) the V-neck was raised, and (4) the stiching is looser reducing the ability of the sweater to hold its shape. What a disappointment! I tried switching from a "small" to a "medium" and the loose knit just makes the sweater bulky. Please return to the original sizing and cut for what was a terrific sweater. I'm returning the three I recently purchased.

Looks Bulky on Me
The title says it all - if you're not skinny, it may make you look bigger than you are (or want to look).

The fabric is soft and comfortable and the bust fits! without the rest of the garment being too large!
I've been wearing these sweaters for years and they're terrific: warm in cold weather, cool in warm weather. My only recommendation would be that the V be deeper; it is now too close to the neck.
