Its not the vest..its you
Vest is just fine!! Not for wearing like it was a North Face goose vest in inclimate weather, its rather for those cool summer/fall days or winter/spring days. I work in uniform and these vests have become my signature look because I have all the bold colors to make my uniform more feminine. If the weather is already cold this isn't the vest for that day.We live upstate NY and believe me it gets cold here & NO this vest isn't for what we all know as winter.Otherwise, add ur long sleeve top, add ur sweater & keep it moving. It could be boxy when unsnapped but try snapping all the way so it fits ur body & Im quite sure you'd have better results. Keep it mind its unbelted and doesn't have a cute lil drawstring to personalize the fit (got it?). At this price plus free shipping consider ordering ur size & perhaps one up or down for comparison. If all else fails its not the vest, its you.

Cheaply made with NO PUFF.
I just received my vest, and I was shocked to see it has NO puff, it was very cheaply made. The picture on the site looks very rich and plush, but in reality its looks great on line. If it wasn't for my monogram i would return this for a FULL REFUND. I purchased this vest based on the high ratings from other customers, but I was disappointed.

Product is nice, color is off.
My biggest complaint is that the coloring in the photos are way off. Get it together, LE! I ordered the Malachite and the Beet Root. The Malachite is pretty close--just a bit brighter, more Kelly green. The Beet Root is a super bright magenta color that, while pretty, was not what I thought I was getting.
Aside from the color, this is a really nice vest. Comfy and light. And cute. The length is just right. I hate having to pull my jacket/best down to keep from riding up, and am glad that doesn't seem to be an issue here. I have a long torso and a round belly, so it is a very common issue for me, but not with this vest. I understand the complaints about the pockets and the lack of zipper, but since I was expecting it, it doesn't bother me.
I ordered two different sizes. The larger size is comfier, but quite boxy. The smaller size is just an eensy bit too small for the buttons to snap easily, but is really flattering. I do tend to be between sizes, but the important takeaway is that if this vest isn't a little bit snug, it might not be very flattering. I will be returning the larger vest and exchanging the smaller for a more muted color.

go small
I finally figured this out. I am 5' 8" and 142lbs and think of myself as a solid medium size in tops but in this vest I wear a small and possibly could fit in something even smaller. I bought a small in the spruce color and I am pretty happy overall. (It looks great with a dark teal top under it.) Last year's vest did have bigger pockets which were better. This one is less boxy on me than the other diamond vest I ordered and returned, and it is definitely less boxy than the medium I have from last year. But I loved last year's dark brown color and would buy it again if you would bring it back. Hint, hint.

Warm but Boxy
Unflattering boxy rectangle cut -- needs to nip in more at the waist (about 2 inches). The big quilted squares also contribute to the overall boxiness - would suggest going back to the diamond shape of previous vests.

fits big
Nice vest. Big around the bust. I sent it back for one size down. there are bust darts so if you are flat or small at the chest, expect a bit of space.
I was expecting a bit thicker ...so it is not a heavy duty down vest.... but it is still nice...
once I get the right size it will be very handy for under a wool coat.

Warm
A really nice, warm layer in nippy weather. Not sure if an aberration, but the yellow one was too snug for me at the hips, while the cinnamon stick and cornflower blue were both ok (all 3 the same size). Also, the cinnamon stick is a deep rust, not the more lively orange shade that appeared on my computer screen, and the cornflower blue has a gray undertone to it (again, computer screen issue, not as lively as thought would be). Have a couple of LE down vests from last year and actually prefer those. These are just as wonderfully lightweight and warm, but because of the horizontal quilting, they impart a bulkier appearance than last years rhombus quilting pattern did. Nevertheless, LE - - keep making these down vests!!! I LIVE in them during the winter months :-)

Great Vest
I really like these vests,I have 2. I like the red around the holidays. It is perfect for over a sweatshirt. I use these more for fall through end of Dec depending on how cold it is. They are not for the coldest weather, tend to be light. If you are ample chested I would recommend going a size larger. I am a 40C and the large was snug, extra large is perfect.
