Boxy and not warm enough
I bought this jacket last year with great hopes. The styling looked very good. Unfortunately, I find the jacket to be somewhat itchy and not warm enough for the kind of early spring weather I bought it for. It is boxy and not very flattering. By boxy, I mean short and wide. Like you're wearing a fabric box. Maybe if you are boxy, this jacket will flatter you. I wish I had returned it!

This Jacket is fun to wear!
I wasn't sure when I ordered it, but I love this jacket! Wearing it just makes you feel cute! The material is extremely soft and the quality is excellent. I got the Atmosphere color (great with jeans!) in a 16P. The fit is perfect through the body, sleeves are still a bit long on me, but I just rolled them back a bit and let the cute lining show. The hood is kind of funky, it flops down into my eyes! but I don't intend to wear the hood much anyway. It does button up nicely around your neck if you need that extra warmth. As others have noted, the pockets are pretty much just for looks. They are too awkwardly placed to keep hands warm. But despite the little glitches I really like this coat, it's warm and fun to wear.

Jacket is not too young; I am too old!
I liked the look of this jacket, both on line and in person. The fit was perfect to wear over a sweater. However I returned it because 1) the material is 'way too thin for cold-weather use and 2) I thought the style would be much more attractive on a younger person. That said, I still think the jacket is cute and versatile - a keeper if I could only lose 30 years!

This jacket is terrific. In fact, I was so impressed I bought 3 more, for my daughters.
It fits perfectly and I particularly love the light blue. A really nice feature is that you can roll the cuffs up to expose the attractive checked lining, which gives the jacket a very finished look.

Great Mid-Weight Jacket
After a lot of telling myself I didn't really need another winter coat, this jacket went on sale. Then there was a discount on top of that, so it ended up being a really great deal and I decided to buy it. And I am glad I did. It's the perfect between seasons coat, and it's even good when it's colder (like 30 degrees). When it's cold, I just add a scarf and gloves because it's really open at the neck and also weirdly at the sleeves. It is pretty boxy, as some other reviewers have said, but not overly so. I certainly don't feel like I have no shape when I wear it. I do have some small quibbles, however. As I already mentioned, the sleeve openings are wide at the wrist. I wish they tapered more. Also, the pockets are really mostly decorative. Since they're patch pockets, you can't carry too much without it starting to look bulky. And since they only open from the top, you can't easily put your hands in there to keep them warm. I wish Land's End would do the patch pocket look with side openings more often on women's coats. (They seem to do this more on men's coats.) Lastly, I wish the hood was cut a little differently so the contrast lining showed more. Overall though, it's a really cute jacket and I'm very happy with my purchase.

Just what I have been looking for!
So glad I found this jacket. It's sharp, fits me perfectly and keeps me warm enough. I was looking for a jacket that was not too warm - I usually wear down jackets but end up being way too warm; just like other reviewers have said, this is is great for the 40 degree temps.

Great fall jacket
This jacket comes in a few colors. The fit is tailored but very comfortable and perfect for Fall. I live in a temperate climate so "Fall" lasts a long time and this is my go-to jacket. I anticipate wearing it in the early spring as well.

Fit's a Bit Strange
I ordered this coat twice in different sizes. I usually wear a 10 or 12 and the first was a bit too tight to wear a sweater under it, and the second was a bit large. But besides the size difference, this coat just seems to fit strangely. It's as thought it's made for someone who's much more short-waisted. The "mid-seam" rested much higher than my waist. The buttons are spaced just right so they pulled whenever I moved my arms. I don't find that flattering at all. As usual, the sleeves were way too long, but I find that in most clothing these days, especially coats. It seems to just be one of those coats that looks great on the model but not on me, so I had to reluctantly send it back. It's a shame too, given the great clearance price.
